How to Create a Squeeze Page Without a Website?

You need a domain and hosting to have any kind of page online. I don't know of any other way and I wouldn't trust any kind of "free" resourse for such an important aspect of my business.

The problem with using a "free" blog platform is they control everything. Earlier this year I had a lot of traffic and sales coming from a couple of Hubpages blogs. They suddenly notified me that my blogs were against their TOS.

But they wern't. I'd checked very carefully before putting them up. They got back to me and said that my blogs were against what they were in the process of changing their TOS to and I either had to get the landing page links out of my posts or give up the account. I gave up two of my three accounts.

Moral of the story: NEVER get youself in a situation where your business depends on a service you don't control.

I have a url for my page. You need to be able to depend on your site to be there and be able to make the tweaks you want with a free site you may be limited in how you can structure your business or affiliate sales.

You could set up a free squeeze page on weebly, and later get your own domain and hosting. Just like you could start with listwire instead of aweber or getresponse, but go into it knowing you're going to face some headaches down the road, which is why everyone is advising you get your own hosting and domain.

use blogger as platform. Create attractive graphics. Use mediafire as your gift file storage. It's a solution to ur problem but not much recommended. Your own hosting service nd domain is your property. They'll remain with you.

I am genuinely puzzled. I've seen people ask if they can do this or that online without a website many times, but have never understood why that would even be a question!

What's the problem with having your own website? It seems to me that all suggested alternatives (if they can really be seen as such) suffer major drawbacks so what is the allure of making life harder for yourself?

A domain name and cheap hosting is a tiny outlay that I would have thought anyone who seriously plans to make money online would willingly pay. If creating the site itself is the problem, WordPress makes that super easy and is free. There are also lots of excellent free (or ultra low cost) templates around if you just want to put up a simple squeeze page.

I'm not being critical here - just very confused as to why not doing the obvious is something that so many people ask about. I must be missing something.

I agree with Martin. What it costs to get a domain and hosting, the long term payout goes without saying. So much more you can do/control with your own site.

If you consider how much money you blow every month on non-essentials, I think you will be able to cover the monthly outlay.

Domain - $10 year
Hosting - $10 monthly

To me, it's a no brainer.

Get a free hosting with a free domain to start off. 000webhost and ******** domain name.

Unbounce offer a good service for A/B testing landing pages, worth a shot!

You are much better off paying for hosting and your domain name as it is then your own site and if you did do to through blogger if you wanted to sell it further down the line you wouldn't make as much money for it.

If you want the simplicity of Weebly that allows you to add an Aweber or Get Response autoresponder squeeze page (more professional), and control your own domain and site, consider Homestead.com

I have used them for years and creating sites is easy using their point and click tools. Potential customers will treat you more seriously if your site is on a unique Yoursite.com

My advice is to always have your own squeeze page, coupled with a domain name, and hosting, this way you are always in control, and not at the mercy of free service providers, should they decide to put advertising on your squeeze page.

Do a google search ... there are several sites that offer squeeze pages.
obviously you would need to read the conditions

If you don't own a domain and a host then you can go for free services but make sure that they allow trade on their free versions. Blogger and Wordpress completely prohibit it but there are many others such as:

Yola
Weebly
Webs
Wix
Moonfruit
Roxer

There are many other similar services. You can use their free versions for the moment and later upgrade to premium when you have the money without losing any of your content. It'll also rid you of their ads on your site.

There really isn't a way to have a website online, without having a website online? Ya digg? lol (kinda weird, i know)

But check it, there is a way to create a squeeze page without having to deal with ANY code whatsoever.

There are MANY ways to do this online, a few suggestions I would recommend would be things like OptimizePress, SqueezeTheme, and even Kajabi if you're doing a launch.

Investigate those and other options to get an idea of whats possible.

if i can't have a domain and site and need to build leads i would use a webinar into my list then they host the squeeze page for the webinar i get the leads. I got thousands of leads that way it works.

I see this is an old post but I just wanted to ad for the new viewers in 2014 and beyond that regardless of who says what about free sites being bad, I have to strongly disagree. Weebly is the greatest resource online for newbys and broke marketers. I use weeblys free list builder, landing page, and blog platform. They also track visitors and traffic . There are so many hacks for weebly that you can do anything in the free account that you can do with the paid except password protect your pages. Its insane how friendly the site is for quick site editing and building. You have access to the html editor and can customize your site as needed. Another great tool I use is bz9.com and there link shortner/cloaker to take my weebly page and get the weebly dropped from the end of the .com . you can change the address of each weebly page and can have infinate inner pages which means you could monetize squeeze pages and host them for others and sell them.

You can only have 10 sites built on weebly but you can change emails and reopen. You also only need one account and one site if you use the bz9 trick You also have a fully integrated storefront for free and they make you upgrade for digital sales like ebooks, etc... but HOLD ON, I have a way to get around that. 1) link paypal to your account for free to accept payments. Upload your ebook file with the file box in dropdown and place the file on another weebly page and block the page from seo and the rest of the site by hiding the page. then go to the product tab and load a pic of your ebook but check the box as having a physical product and not a digital one then go to paypal and get a redirect by checking the box that sends the buyer to a different address after buying. Link the internal page thats hidden that has your uploaded file and they can download from there or you can link paypal to another outside link to a pdf and this is done by going to your uploaded file on weebly and right click the link and choose the option that says open in a new tab or window.

When the tab opens with your link, it will be your first page of your ebook showing and then just copy and paste the url from that page you just opened and use that as your redirect for paypal. There is also a way to ad narration and music to the page but its to much for here. Just google it and you will see 3 different options.Build a list by offering free ebooks for their email with the form box and redirect the email box to open on one of your internal pages and have pics and links to your ebooks on that page but be sure to hide it from the rest of your site. You will not see the url change from page to page but after you publish your page just take the title given for each tab and add it to the end of weebly.com/about or.com/(whatever the name is you choose for your tab). Make sure to publish after any changes made so they show up on your site from the viewer side.

Recap, Yes Weebly is free but it is so POWERFUL for newbys and low income or on a budget people and just back up all your site info in case anything ever happens but by the time you have all this set up, you will have the ability to earn money on autopilot and will be able to save up enough to buy a paid service should u choose 2 later. you can use a blog to create a squeeze page..and input your auto responder code to it.

Imnicamail have a feature: landing page builder, so you don't need a website for the squeeze page.

Try signing up for a free hosting site and use a free sub domain for your squeeze page. I do not see it possible to set one up without a website.
