What do I do?

To start, I need to explain my situation, feel free to skip if you would like: I'm 18 years old, I go to a community college but plan on transferring to a university next year. We're on break now until about January 18th, that's about 5 weeks. I've been in the IM field before, my problem is motivation and drive, I've realized this and addressed the issue. I've also came up with a solution, my motivation disappears when I don't see any return in my work. I've decided that I'm going to build a list as my business. This way, every time somebody ops into my list, the motivation rises again so I don't necessarily have to wait for income in order to get to work. About two weeks ago I lost my wallet, I don't have a drivers license, my debit cards are gone, everything. My new debit card should be here in the mail early next week, I'm pretty sure it should be here by Wednesday. Here's where the questions come in:

Would you guys recommend I find a mentor, or a coach for list building to make sure that I don't make the same mistakes that others have already made?

Is there anything that I can do before my debit card gets here? Should I get some articles ready?

Is there any way that I can make a squeeze page without any money? So that when I get my card I can just upload it and get started on the traffic?

To be honest, I need help developing a plan, or a business model. My goal is to hit $1,000 and 350 subscribers by the new year. Is this a reasonable and realistic goal with this method? I haven't decided whether I should create my own product or advertise somebody else's.

Basically, is there anything I can do in the upcoming days in order to make it easier on myself when I do get my card? It would be nice if I could find somebody that is successful in list marketing, to talk to and maybe help me map out a step-by-step plan for myself.
