Amazon New Products

Hi,

Recently I got my first Amazon Check and want to increase my Amazon promotions now.

I am looking for a way to find new products on Amazon. I already know how to find the "Hot New Releases" on the Amazon Best Sellers Site.

But is there also a way to find products that are just released or maybe upcoming products in the near future?

Hope some of you want to give me your advice about this.

    Choose your niche and then subscribe to everything you can for that particular niche such as

    1.) magazines,
    2.) newsletters,
    3.) sign up for Manufacturers new product update emails
    4.) Look online on blogs to do with your niche that discuss your product line. For example, if for electronics then cnet.com and for tech products techcrunch.com (there are loads)

    5.) Attend tradeshows if you can these are great for new product releases that will be launched in the near future.

    6.) It is sometimes as easy as using google and do searches for new product releases within your chosen product line.

    Basically always keep your eyes and ears open and soon you will have more choices that you can handle.

    Picking great products to sell on Amazon is not difficult, but it can be extremely time consuming.

    The 'magic formula' I have settled on, after reading a lot of expert opinions and testing things out extensively for myself is as follows:

    1. High popularity
    2. A current selling price of above $150
    3. A current discount in excess of 25%
    4. At least 4.5 star ratings
    5. A minimum of 10 reviews

    Amazon allow you filter on some of those things, but not all - and not all at the same time - so finding a few decent products can take a lot of quite boring work. And then you have to do it over and over again for each category.

    It IS worth the effort, if you have several hours a week to spare.

    As a programmer I figured that it should be possible to automate the process and the result surpassed even what I had hoped for - see my sig.

    I keep an eye on big manufacturing companies and their announcements. This way I get an advantage when it comes to tech products.
