That most of your sales will come from people that have already bought from you. Treating your customers like gold will keep them coming back for more!

Nice point. I bet a lot of people get that wrong with their business model. Focusing too much on attracting new customers when you could be building relationships with past customers and selling to them again and again.

I wish I had been told how extremely important keyword, and market research are. Testing things is very key. It can be a waste of time to put a ton of work into one market/keyword if there are no customers. Take the time to find the right keyword, and also give your campaign time to establish itself. These things do not happen overnight.

Now that I think about it, I'm sure I probably read, or was told these things, but I wish I had actually listened! Oh well, it might have been a longer road than I was hoping, but I made it in the end. Bottom line? Don't Give Up!

Without a doubt - learn SEO. That is the only way you can control your own destiny. Learn SEO and you can build any business you want because you can build traffic to any website.

Don't use crappy content written by non-native English writers on sites you are selling products on. I wanted to outsource content writing when I started out, and couldn't afford good quality. Was a waste of time and money, as I ended up redoing all of that content again. Always use good content for every site!

To start with Minimum Viable Product - instead of spending all the time & money on something complete that could be simply ignored by the market.
