What's the best free IP cloaking tool/software?

I need something that is guaranteed to work and not leave any trace whatsoever. It is against the terms of service to use a proxy/ip switching but this function would greatly simplify my efforts.

What do you suggest?

    Anonymizer has a good service going. I have never tried them myself but I have been in contact with them before and their staff seemed very helpful.

    Proxify is another free site that will hide your tracks.

    You ask if it's "against terms of service to use a proxy" but you didn't mention for what site or what purpose.

    You might want to look into "hide my ass". I have never used them or any service like it, but hear good things. - This tool is not free however. I think its about 10/M.

      HMA does have a free anonymous portal to use but like all the free sites it restricts certain sites and has a smaller browser window to make room for banners. Works great for casual surfing though.

      I use HMA and it is wonderful and really easy to use. I use to proxy, but that was a total headache.

      OP - No idea what you are doing, but just pay for it. HMA you can get for under 10 dollars a month and they currently (or will be) having a discount for the holidays going on.

      Free stuff is nice, but paying for a service (that works much better than the free stuff) for a low price is much better.

    Well if you want it for free then use HMA free proxy list and just change your IP address. These can be brutally slow but if you are only doing one task per proxy and not downloading anything then these will work fine. Remember to only use the highly anonymous proxies mentioned in the last column:

    Thank you very much for that Melissa.

    I did it manually by going into my internet options and it worked.

    I would be willing to pay monthly for this if I can automate it and have it quickly switch from one proxy to another to vote instead of having to do it manually each time. Will getting their paid subscription do that?

    It is auto. You select the city you want from the list, hit connect and you are connected. While connected you can hit a button to change your IP to another in that city. So much easier than doing it manually.

    I believe you can get a refund if you don't like it too.
