I moved on from this area as I found that creating my own products was so much easier and fun.

And to be quite honest I'd like to about site flipping like the plague. I'm not saying it won't work for others, just not my thing.

    Anyways good luck.

Wow - what a coincidence, I did the opposite thing! I hosted my own products online before however the support was too much to handle and I ended up either: working late or hiring outsourcers (expensive). With website flipping, all you need to do is sell 2 websites at $3,000 each and you'll already receive a full time income. You don't have to handle a lot of support and only have to cherish a few customers.

Website flipping can be very profitable, however, you must be able to create websites that have proven revenue in order to be successful. If you can create blogs that run for just 3 months and earned (example) an average of $100 per month, you'll be able to flip it for an easy 10x the amount.

It is a very profitable area of marketing and would recommend it if you have the skill of developing websites quickly and perhaps making revenue on them.

I think site flipping income is something like "will do odd jobs for cash". It could be an occasional fun but as an activity it has zero residual value.
Dedicate yourself to one thing you love and focus on becoming the best in it.

Siteflipping is an earner for a lot of people. "Do odd jobs for cash" ... lol

The more you put into a site, the more you'll make. If you keep sites long enough to get traffic and revenue, it's well worth it. Just click on the "just sold" tab on Flippa to get an idea of what kind of sites people buy.

Sitepoint used to be the place to go. They split their website auctions off from the site to create Flippa, so Sitepoint doesn't do website auctions anymore. Ebay is not where the serious buyers are. Sites will go for very cheap on Ebay.

Flippa is full of people trying to make a fast buck selling startups, but the buyers are on Flippa and if you have a quality site with PR5, Flippa is the place to list it.

The only other real alternative is if you should want to sell a big money commercial business, a broker might get a higher price, but you also have to factor in his/her commission.

The downside to site flipping is that it's pretty much a one-time sale from all of the work of building a site. However, when you create your own products, you can sell them multiple times. You can even get affiliates on board to sell your products as well.

I'd like to add writing/ghostwriting services to the list.
People want updated content on their sites especially since Google's 'freshy' update.
        They like bonuses too

yes, the market demand on content writing services is high, as long as there is internet.. but as a "spy flipper" i found the ghostwriting service site on avarage only sold around 100 bucks...

Right about that ... it's not passive income for certain. But then there's auctions like this one, https://flippa.com/2672875-7000-plus...cking-business, $25,000 for a site that is one month old.

It's a good model for people who enjoy creating sites more than keeping and promoting sites.

Way too much money for a flipping course. Putting up a crap site and selling it on Flippa will get small rewards, and I assume that is what Easy Little Flips is all about. Want to know what sells on Flippa, go there and click on the Just Sold tab. Free education.

Yep, I purchased the ELF program, but not the mini course for $297. I purchased the higher program with coaching and personal email support with the product owner Lucas.

I have purchased low cost flipping programs before, and they were all crap. I am sure the ELF program is high for most, but its well worth the investment based on the step by step video training and coaching support.

Plus, the guys at job crusher have a money back guaranty and their support response time is also great. The guys at job crusher are multi millionaires, their membership system is wild.

I do agree with the others, flipping is a one time revenue, but you can build up a nice revenue stream if you can properly outsource the work.

      Good luck....

LOL at the "flipping course" ...

Did you mean "flipping" (flip a site) or did you mean "flipping" (slang for the f word)?

This most money I ever made in buying and selling domains was to purchase an already established site, with proven income statistics. The site paid for itself in a matter of months, although realistically you should expect a newly bought site to pay for itself after 8+ months or more. In others words, when you are haggling the price, 8 months should be a good rule of thumb for what is considered rock-bottom pricing on a established site. Just my experience.
