Should I stop indexing my primary domain or addon domains ?

Hi, warriors! I tried to find the answer in previous threads, but didn't come to final conclusion. Here goes the SITREP (p.1) and two questions (p.2):
1. I have signed for a hosting that provides me with one primary domain and unlimited add-on domains. Read some contrary views wether linking from one addon d. to another addon d. or primary domain may ruin page ranking, could be considered by google as a spam etc.

2. I discovered that one solution for this problem could be to disable directory indexing. Question - which folder exactly should I stop indexing?
In cpanel I see public html. folder and bunch of my addon domain folders.
2.1. Aren't there any negative consequences from such actions (e.g. google won't see and visitors won't find)?

    Hi,

Interlinking domains that reside on the same ip and/or ip block is considered to dilute if not completely render useless those links. The detection is ip based, not due to directory indexing.

Yes, you should disable directory indexing to keep your files from prying eyes, but you can accomplish this by placing a blank index.html in each directory, and you should create and submit an xml sitemap to the search engines for each site as this will give them the information that they need to crawl your content.

Agreed with mgreener. His answer is spot on.

mgreen> thank's a lot for your response. Just curious, does this conclusion come from your personal expierience ? I`m asking cause I read in bluehast blog, that it doesn't matter, however it was written in 2009 or 2010, might be that there are some changes thought.

I would be very grateful to read some in-depth info. about it.
