PPC = Pay Per Click- You pay whenever someone clicks on your ad.

PPV= Pay Per View- You pay whenever someone views your ad.

Its more detailed then that but that's the jist of it.

Thanks for the response. Do you know which of the 'driving traffics to website' is more effective?

Typically, in my experience, PPC traffic is best run to a squeeze page type of website versus PPV which is best run to CPA type offers.

Once I figured that out, things made much more sense, and I was able to really scale up some of my paid campaigns.

jerom- many of the business owners that I know choose PPC for their paid marketing needs. This gives ultimate accountability for result: the business doesn't pay until they get a result (a click). Reconciling traffic to revenue is much easier with PPC, in my opinion. When I run the math on my site, I know I'm buying a click for $x, which leads to y sign-ups, which leads to $z in revenue conversion.

However, you can obviously do the same math with PPV, but you just have to do one more step: x views leads to y clicks, which leads to z sign-ups, which leads to $zz revenue.

Choosing one over the other will not make a big difference in the success of your marketing. Your success ultimately depends on you writing compelling, relevant ad copy that will drive traffic to you site. If you write catchy ad copy, but it doesn't relate to your product, no one will convert.

Explore both methods, but my guess is that once you get a little more experience, you will prefer PPC. However, spend more time composing valuable ad copy that will drive relevant traffic to your site!

Does it actually mean when someone click on the link, an amount will be deducted from my account which lead to what I will be paying for per click? Does anyone has any pay per click advertising/marketing site to recommend?

Actually NO. People, who answered your topic has no idea, what they were talking, especially the first guy, who twisted the words into completely different meaning.

PPC - Paid-Per-Click = a way to earn some money by clicking on ads and viewing the content, you don't pay, you are paid! Take it as Microsoft pays 10,000$ to some company, which does this business, they keep 2,000$ and place 8,000,000 ads on the internet, you click on one of those ads and you earn 0,001$ for one click. This is generally the model, on which this works. Problem is, this is not one man job and you need a coach to explain you the mechanics of this business and explain you, how to build your downline, because in this stuff, you register people underneath you and they also click and also earn money and you get some % of their income, so imagine the above case and imagine, you have 10,000 people below you (a friend of mine has in one of these 60,000 in his network), in your network or matrix tree, each one of them clicks on that 0,001$ ad and that makes it 10$, of course, there is not just one ad to click on, so they make 10 clicks a day, it takes like 5 minutes and your network profit is 100$ a day, but that 100%, you get only 10%, so voilá, you earn 10$ from your network and 0,01$ (0,001$ x 10 ads) per a day, your daily income is thus 10,01$, per a month you get let's say 300,3$, but there are also people, whose downline is like 100,000 people so yeah, those earn 3,000$ per a month and my example was one of the less paying sites. There are some really, really nice ones. You can easily have 1,000$ or 3,000$ with a little of effort and proper coaching and with a downline of some 2,000 people, which you can also get in 2 or 3 months.

Also note that we're not talking 10,000 - 50,000$ earnings here, because you're not selling anything, you just do some 300 seconds clicking on your PC daily and sometimes not even that!

I will be glad to help you out. Feel free to mail me @ sj048998@hotmail.com

I guess what you are saying is more like a business and different from my queries. However, there is no harm to know more information either.

How much have you generated/earned till date in your business?

I agree, for business owners, PPC is the way to go.

For affiliates, you can do both, but paying per impressions or CPV can be very lucrative as well.

PPC is way more cost-effective. Its also more targetted. Why pay per view when you have the option of only paying when someone actually clicks? PPC all the way!! (in my opinion)
