Just to give you a little background I am from the financial niche where I do lead generation so the whole thing is to get optins to the newsletter. I have recently started in the IM niche and the whole thing here is to get visitors to click on your affiliate link. I built a review site improductsreview.com I am getting traffic there but no visitors are clicking on the affiliate links and the very little that do are not buying anything. My question is by looking at the site am I missing something big here? Just seems with the traffic I would get more people clicking on the links. Any ideas or suggestions?

    I get anywhere from 3-10 from organic traffic from goodle per day, but recently tested 2 days of ppc to test conversions and with 400 visitors only sold one or 2 products with minimal clicks on my affiliate links.

    I see other sites and seems mine looks similiar its not like i dont have banners up or things lile that. Im not looking for someone secrets just wondering if im missing something major. If you have a tip to share im all ears.

      When you are running traffic to a review site, ESPECIALLY paid traffic, you need to put a squeeze page in front of that stuff man.

      This way, the peeps who do get on your list, will get updates everytime you make a new review post.

      Also, to increase interest of your posts, maybe you can call out a few products that are blatant scams?

      This is a great way to build up credibility in your list and your reputation as a marketer. Because lets face it, if you just do a fluffy review of every single product and recommend it with your affiliate link, people know what to expect on every single post you make, thus making them boring.

      Instead, be real, call people out, and ONLY recommend the good stuff.

    I would recommend adding a nice graphic logo and drawing more attention to your links to show people how to take action. This can be something as easy as a button that says click here to visit site or maybe just color the hyperlink so it stands out.

    "TAKE ACTION" is the first thing everyone tells you and then they leave it at that. I'll add a second part: TRACK EVERYTHING" - It's the only way to ensure your ACTION leads to results.

    3-10 from Google is poor traffic. Don't expect conversion in that low traffic. Focus on increasing the traffic.

    Also you told 400 visitors in 2 days via PPC. Did you choose "Targeted Keyword" in PPC?

    The conversion rate of any product depends on mainly "Targeted Keyword".

    for example You are selling MAC Computers and you are getting traffic with a keyword "MAC Computers" and your conversion is very low the most probable reason is that people are searching history, articles, reviews or other stuff related to MAC computers. You can use keywords like "MAC computer Price", "Buy Mac Computers".

    I hope you understood the point. Analyze keywords and focus on increasing traffic. It will sure increase your conversion rate. Best Luck.

    Statistics show that in order to let an ad be of any meaning to 1 person, they have to have seen it 5 to 7 times before they will actually buy something.

    Therefore, you would need to have that many repeat clicks/visits to your site or promote to them from within your aweber or whatever autoresponder you use. That's why you need to have a squeeze page and if you pay for traffic, you only pay for the one visitor once.

    Another thing is, On your blog, do a video review of every product with you on camera.
    The reason why is, people buy from characters they like, know and trust. If you want to make more sales, you need to brand yourself and build a report with them through your videos. Make it fun and honest.

    If you do that, you will see your conversions go up dramatically. Also try to make your follow up messages as engaging as your videos and refer back to them in you emails. Remember 5 to 7 exposures to the same sales offer is what it takes on average before they buy.

    Don't increase traffic, increase QUALITY FIRST. Then cross promote your stuff on youtube, facebook and forums. Those 3 will do just great if you focus. Try not to do more strategies than 3 because you will do poorly overall if you spread yourself to thin.
