Need help on traffic generation for my new website!!

Follow the basic SEO for generating traffic and apart from that forums especially affiliates forums will be best place where you should contribute effectively and could even get answers to many of your questions. Try to attract users with some eye catchy offers like offering discounts or earning vouchers on reaching this or that target. Affiliate sites usually earn a lot traffic in no time, just what is needed is right marketing and process.

1. Write or get written one or two quality press releases and distribute to all press release sites as much as you can
2. Write 5 articles and 5 blog posts and submit them too to their respective places. Try to post your blogs as guest blogger on others blog which get good in the affilate section, make sure your post is interesting and informative. Title is the key to attract users so do work on it.
3. Join affiliate forums as well as top webmaster forums (as they mostly has affiliate sections)
4.Do blog commenting on webmaster blogs, internet marketing blogs, affiliate blogs
5. Do social media marketing by posting latest updates about your site and latest updates in Affiliates field. Give tips to your friends, fans and followers.

Follow this , this complete work is not hectic and messy. Just follow the steps and make sure to build not more than 5-10 links a day. I assure you huge traffic conversion.

You can generate traffic via SEO. Research your keywords and optimize your site for those keywords. You can also generate traffic via the PPC route. SEO is the most effective traffic generation IMO.

Focus on organic traffic (search engines). This should be the most valueable resource to start your online activities properly.
