Well word of mouth advertising is probably one of the easiest and most effective forms of viral marketing. Basically, make sure your product is good. SO GOOD that people can't help but tell their friends about it. No multi-million dollar business I know of has cruddy products. |

To me, at the heart of viral marketing is engaging content that people WANT to talk about. YouTube has a plethora of examples, however, it isn't just limited to video.

The definition of for instance viral infection is when virus infects and starts multiplying-spreading without control. If we take as an example YouTube then most viral videos are of entertainment nature. It is not easy to make an internet marketing video and hope it will go viral because of the commercial nature of such clips. However, often unrelated (music or funny) videos with high viral potential could be monetized. Again, my understanding of viral is uncontrollable, not requiring you input and efforts.... |
