What do you use to put yourself on camera

showing your face and talking on camera is one of the best ways to promote your products or blogs.

for those experienced warriors, what kind of tools do you use to show yourself talking on sales pages? Do you have it professionally edited?

I just use a Logitech Webcam Pro 9000, it seems very good.

For sound I use a Blue Snowball USB microphone.

Editing is with Windows Live Movie Maker. I never get them professionally edited.

I try to do videos 'as live', so they only need top and tailing and then upload.

I use the Logitech Webcam Pro 9000 also - I really like it. I use a Sonus microphone - it seems to do the job well. I also use screenshot for that type of video and garage band to edit just audio.

Start with a Kodak zi8 HD camera. They are cheap. Use a lav mic such as the ATR 3350 from Audio Technica. 20 bucks.

Upgrade to a DSLR camera as your budget climbs.

Same as Chris, I use the Kodak zi8 with a cheap metal lapel mic and edit everything in Camtasia which does everything I need.

I just saw this Swivl cam stand that has an auto rotating/tilting stand w/ bluetooth mic that has an infrared marker on it so the camera follows you if you move around a bit. So you know you are always centered in the shot. Works with smart phones and slim cameras.
