These tend to be the trends where people but their premiums, I think?

But like i said understand what you need and what you want and it's not really much to pay.. hell you're getting 70%+ of your design work completed.

This might be a good free theme for you. You can always change a themes background color by editing the css file. Anyway here is the theme.

Probably the best free "dark" theme for wordpress is "Mystique"

You might want to consider making a small investment into a premium theme if you're not happy with the free selection.

I like that one but it doesnt have the categories,i think because i used it earlier and i think it doesnt show them

I have never tried this plugin, but I have heard good things about It. It allows you to tweak an existing theme and make it the way you want it.

Business Lite from Cyberchimps. It's dark and has a some great features.

But don't be afraid to spend a little money. If your time is worth anything at all, you just wasted 3 hours (although I do the same thing - LOL).

It might be a good idea to spend some money on a premium theme. Although I am guilty of this sometimes, spending 3 hours picking a theme is 3 less hours of making money.

I would buy a premium theme as there are some great ones out there. Or do a google search for top 10 free wordpress themes as you will be amazed what will come up - I have found many of mine like that.
