ranking / article / keyword question

If I already rank in the top 5 for a keyword (under youtube), is it advisable to go through the squidoo, ezine articles etc... to promote? Or just leave it as is?

    Its always advisable to promote your content via any means, you can drive free traffic to your content by doing squidoo lenses and article releases, which is always good as more traffic = more money potential.

    Also doing this will help you stack at 5th place or even rank higher, your competitors will no doubt be working to raise up the rankings, being complacent could allow them to pass you.


    By all means however if you are happy with 5th place you wouldn't need to dedicate extreme amounts of time to your referral projects, just now and again to maintain your position.

      no you misread the initial post... I am under youtube for the keyword, but on page 1 and in the top 5, sometimes #3 or #2 never #1.
