What am I doing wrong??

Please help. I am running a fb campaign. FB Fan page and I have an Aweber default tab for them to enter name and email address in exchange for a FREE ebook. I have gotten 184 likes on my FB Fan Page in 2 days but not a single opt in. What gives?

    1. You are giving away too much information before the opt-in box comes into play.

    2. Facebook people have figured out a way to bypass Aweber's system and get your ebook for free without having to subscribe to your email list

    3. I don't know until I see your Facebook fan page.

    4. You are being royally screwed by someone who promised you Facebook likes to your fan page

      Seriously, a lot of people put up an opt-in form promising something like "learn how to poop the alphabet!" and then wonder why nobody's joining their list.

    People on facebook and internet are getting tired of spam and are getting much more careful, where they put their email in. But giving a like is not hard

    Actually they are seeing seeing the opt in tab. Rename the opt in tab. Make the opt in tab the default tab, so that i will be the first page the see after liking your page.

    I agree with others. Check the quality of your free offer and traffic you are sending to the offer. Good quality opt-ins are not so easy to come by anymore - especially on Facebook where users are not so active with regular email.

    Have you thought about creating a fan page where you add a little of the content from your free ebook each week or every few days? Connect with users right on Facebook.
