Google Reconsideration Request Seems to Be Successful!

Hello Friends,
About two weeks ago I submitted my website for reconsideration, because it was banned, was out of index (had also grey bar), The first message I got from them was automatic, but yesturday I got their real reply:
"We received a request from a site owner to reconsider how we index the following site: mydomain(dot)com.
We've now reviewed your site. When we review a site, we check to see if it's in violation of our Webmaster Guidelines. If we don't find any problems, we'll reconsider our indexing of your site. If your site still doesn't appear in our search results, check our Help Center for steps you can take.

"

The site still is not in the index...

I don't really understand what does this message mean? and is it success?

should I wait for the site to be included in the index or what should I do now?

What’s going to happen is google is going to review your website and check its content for anything that breaks the rules - for it to be banned in the first place your going to have to make it perfect for the review.

What you should do is edit your content so it complies with googles rules and hope they let it come back on.

Apologies for being nosey - but what did you do to get banned ?

Well, what the email is saying is that they will take the time to review your site. This does not mean that it is being put back up, just that they will look. So I wouldn't say it was "successful" yet. Follow the advice in the email. Compare your website to the Google Webmaster guidelines. Fix whatever is out of place. Your site was probably deindexed for a reason. Hopefully then they will put it back into their SERPs. If not, take the lesson and move on. Always read and understand the TOS.

This is a good sign, but make sure that your site does not go against TOS. If you know, or find what was causing the trouble, fix it and then let Google know as this seems to work even faster for getting the site reindexed.

    Solado,
    Joe128139,
    mgreener,

in the previous email they were saying: "We will review the site"

    Here is the previous email"

We've received a request from a site owner to reconsider how we index the following site: mydomain (dot) com

We'll review the site. If we find that it's no longer in violation of our Webmaster Guidelines, we'll reconsider our indexing of the site. Please allow several weeks for the reconsideration request. We do review all requests, but unfortunately we can't reply individually to each request.
    "

but they say now "We've now reviewed your site."

seems they have already reviewed the site, but don't say what will happen...

the reason for banning, as I think, was the site to be under construction and had some test irrelevant content on it... I have changed the whole website, before sending the reconsideration...

Is that all the email says? Nothing about a decision or when one would come?

    Joe128139,
Yes that is all. I have provided full email in the first post.

"We received a request from a site owner to reconsider how we index the following site: mydomain(dot)com.

    "

So I really don't understand what decision have they made...

    or what should I do?...

Actually they did tell you what is going to happen. Nothing

"If your site still doesn't appear in our search results, check our Help Center for steps you can take. "

if they did not reindex it then they are saying there are still violations that need to be fixed. The help center reference is to help you see what they consider violations. They are NOT going to specifically tell you what to fix in these form messages

    Mike Anthony,
I don't think so, because on the other site I got the refusal email. here it is:

"Dear site owner or webmaster of mydomain.com,

We received a request from a site owner to reconsider mydomain.com for compliance with Google's Webmaster Guidelines.

We've reviewed your site and we believe that some or all of your pages still violate our quality guidelines.

In order to preserve the quality of our search engine, pages from mydomain.com may not appear or may not rank as highly in Google's search results, or may otherwise be considered to be less trustworthy than sites which follow the quality guidelines.

If you wish to be reconsidered again, please correct or remove all pages that are outside our quality guidelines. When such changes have been made, please visit www (dot) google (dot) com/webmasters/tools/reconsideration?hl=en and resubmit your site for reconsideration.

If you have additional questions about how to resolve this issue, please see our Webmaster Help Forum for support.

    Sincerely,

    Google Search Quality Team "

That's how the refusal emails are sent, but in the second case I don't know what to think or what to do... ??

Also the refusal email had different title "Reconsideration request for http://www.mydomain.com : Site violates Google's quality guidelines"

but the second email had this title "We've processed your reconsideration request for http://www.mydomain.com/"

So what does my the second mean?... or what should I do?

well fair enough there is the sentence before it.

" If we don't find any problems, we'll reconsider our indexing of your site. If your site still doesn't appear in our search results, check our Help Center for steps you can take.

So its in their hands now and theres nothing to do. If however after a few weeks its still deindexed then the last line there tells you what the situation is
