How to stop auto posts

Hello everyone,

I bought four blogs that came with hundreds of auto posts which I didn't want. I deleted the posts and added my own content, but haven't been able to stop the auto posts. The guy who built and sold the blogs to me couldn't stop them. I hired someone from fiverr who wasn't able to stop them either. I figured these guys just didn't know what they were doing and thought/hoped that by deactivating all but the essential plugins I'd be able to stop the posts, but they're still coming. I've googled but haven't been able to find any information that has helped.

Can anyone please advise on what I should try next? It's not only the duplicate content and quality of some of the posts that worries me, the vast majority of the posts aren't topic specific. Dating blogs with posts on bed bugs and dog training - not good! : /

Sounds weird. Are you sure there is no auto posting plugin still feeding the blog? What is the link to your blog (PM me if necessary)?

I don't have enough posts to pm. Am I allowed to post the blog names? I guess this will be deleted if I'm not. One still has hundreds of autoposts so I won't post that one, the others are www.safedatings.com, www.onlinedatingtips4u.net and www.bestdatingonline.biz. I deleted the autoposts on the first one this morning so don't know if any more have appeared, but I know there are some on the other two.

Please ignore the fancy themes. They're actually an improvement on the original. I'll be changing to flexibility 3 when I work out how to upload a header image.

You have a plugin installed which is syndicating RSS feeds off other sites. Look at your active plugins and find one that most likely has the word syndicate in it, and remove it. If you need further assistance, let me know and I'll send you my email.

Thank you very much for the tip, Max. I will go through the plugins later tonight and if I can't find anything like that I will let you know. I removed a plugin with "feed" in it and was sure that would work, but it was only on one of the blogs.

I'm not sure. I ordered the blogs and was expecting to get five or so posts to rewrite. The turn around time was supposed to be 7 to 10 days and I got one ridiculous excuse after another as to why they weren't ready. After 7 months - yes, I'm an idiot for being that patient - I told the guy to just give them to me as is. I didn't get any of the things advertised like FB Fan pages, backlinking, youtube videos, ongoing SEO etc, which I'm not happy about. For that reason I am reluctant to contact him again. Part of me says to just scrap them, but it's the first real thing I tried online and the posts took me such a long time to write. They still need a lot of work.

Hey friend it seems content coming network like UAW or FTS which post content in complete autopilote mode once you confirm it from your end, if you can send me login details then i can pause this for you..or you can do it yourself, just go to wordpress dashboard, and disable Remote Publishing option given under

setting-writting-Remote Publishing
Atom Publishing Protocol
XML-RPC

just uncheck these option and it will stop itself...if it wont work then there is one more way to sort out this, but first try this and let me know what other help you need..i am reachable at rajivkumar900@gmail.com

i know this cause i have several website in past to make some tiny money like this...

but now i moved to working on systmatic way to generate good money instead of hoping for unexpected traffic..Just my 2 cents..

Yes, I understand what you're saying. I'm working on something else now. At least I hope it will work. lol After having put so much time into writing I'm not at the stage where I want to abandon them just yet. There's not enough time to do everything though. I'll at least try to add a new post to each every week or so and monetize them.

I also have a website with autoposts that I left abandoned. It does get good traffic so I'm looking to revamp it - hopefully the traffic will continue to flow.

Mine uses the WP Robot. Does your use something similar?

I seem to recall seeing WP Robot. The posts I was originally getting were specific to the dating niche, but they were absolute rubbish. Only good for a laugh, but the amusement value soon wore off. lol The guy then switched to something else (which is what I am now getting). I read a few posts and the quality was high. Very few are on dating though and I rewrite them anyway so would rather not be getting them. He mentioned UAW at one stage. I don't know anything about it so don't know if it auto posts.

one more thing friend you cant not changed UAW post ..its out of UAW agreement..so you need to disable it first..otherwise those people can create trouble for you...usually they are running big network so you will not get any instant mail from theme but if somebody is tracking his article and found you have changed something that case you could face same minor issues..

I might have rewritten 10% including some using a spinner that spins but the wording appears as the original article when read, so hopefully I'll be okay.
