Has anyone had this problem before? I'm sure you did, please, share your experience. I created a review site. School review site. Now I need parents to write school reviews to get the site going. Do you know any good strategy/tactics/approach to make them want to write reviews? I don't want to pay them. What can I do to get reviews on the site? Website is here: calgaryschoolreviews.com Thank you, Rado |

Hi Rado, Why would they want to write reviews? 1. Because they love the school, and want others to know why. 2. Because they think the school sucks, and want others to know why. Both of those are positions people can get passionate about. "Think your kid's school sucks? Let others know by sharing your thoughts." Also, give them a reason to give a review. Just because you want to get your site built up isn't a reason - they don't care about that at all. You may not have to pay them, but you could consider giving something in return (it can be free). Finally, figure out a way to make it easier for them to comment. Perhaps you could have a few preset choices (say five questions where they rank different aspects of the school on a scale of 1-10), then have a text box where they can share their thoughts freely. All the best, Michael |
