my amazon site gets traffic , but no conversion

Hi, I got my amazon site in page one (but still ranks in 8 - 10), it gets targeted traffic from search engine but it gets no conversion at all right now... can u tell me what's going on?

    Well if people are visiting your home page, it might be your content. It is all over the place.

    If you are getting targeted traffic from the serps for a particular keyword you have to understand what that targeted traffic is looking for. If you know that, you should be able to write copy that promotes whatever products or services they may be looking for.

    You should also work on your website's design structure. The sidebar should be on the right, not the left. You should wrap your text around the picture of the tv on your homepage. Put the title above the picture as apposed to placing it on the right side. Change the font you are using for your sidebar.

      But have you thought how many people may actually buy a TV sight-unseen?

      I too have a TV site but this too made zero sales in six months (of TV's) however it does do rather well on Adsense, so perhaps in view of your copy you may like to give it a try. No offence intended

    If i visited that site looking for a new flatscreen tv, I would just click straight on the back button. It's a mess to be honest, and lacks any direction. Maybe have a look at other more successful Amazon review sites and emulate what they are doing, from their design, to their style of review.

    How much targeted traffic are you talking about.
    Number 8-10 position only receives about 3% of the total traffic for that keyword.
    So if you took your keyword from the GKT,and say you received 3,000 searches a month.
    Divide that number by 30 days,then divide that number by 3% of the total daily searches.
    That is what you are receiving for traffic.For that keyword.

    Another thing you have to realize is, the more expensive and 'low-frequency purchase' the item is, the lesser the odds that people would buy the item. TVs are one of them as you don't just get up one morning and decide to get a TV... Couple that with poor non-convincing content, you won't get any sales.

    First my comment on the TV site.

    Too much dense small text on the first page.

    Products Category is too dense.

    The actual Review page...the /Products is good. I think that might be a good lead page.


    Now my questions.

    Does anyone have an example of a successful site that is using a "free" WP theme?

    I see lots of people pushing commercial themes, but am interested in the free versions for now, at first.

    Also....how is this site designed?

    I like the theme, it's nice & clean.

    However, I would not stay long on your site, because it is messy. Change the fonts on your side bar. It's better to put the sidebar to the right. And also, I do not find your content useful at all. Half the time, I don't know what you are saying.

    Give good useful content.
