Is 90% of IM money made in the IM niche...

As a relative newb it seems that 90% of people in the IM world are selling pick-axes and shovels and not really bothering digging for gold.

How many people here are actually promoting or selling products that have noting to do with IM?

    In answer to your question..

    I would say NO.

You "think" that "90% of people in the IM world are selling pick-axes and shovels and not really bothering digging for gold", because you think the IM world is the Warrior Forum, and there is a whole ton of "forum marketing" going on here. The Warrior Forum is just one tiny speck in the world of marketing. Don't confuse one forum with the whole industry

Really, we have no clue what percentage of anyone or anything, regarding your question, but I would guess at No. Simply because I know my personal business is only about 11% I.M. niche product sales, the rest is all outside of this industry. The majority of my mastermind group members operate outside this niche.

The I.M. niche is a niche just like any other, and a small one at that.

    Peace

    Jay

p.s. Of course people are selling "picks and shovels" on this forum, they have a hungry market in front of them here.. but that doesn't mean they aren't using those same picks and shovels to find the gold

The money is NOT in the IM niche, unless your a successful Clickbank Vendor with $1 Million Dollar Launches.

Actually, the money is in the most obscure niches. Drop-shipping is getting big.

You serious? Have you seen the weight loss industry? Sports?

Seriously, you are only exposed to the IM niche more often because you are an affiliate. The IM niche probably doesn't even make up 5% of the sales online.

And I bet 5% is pushing it.

I would say it is the exact opposite or less. Probably 90% or much more of the money made through IM is NOT at all related to internet marketing. (ebay, amazon...etc etc)

I think this forum keeps me up to date with the way other people are working and those techniques apply to any niche.

My 'niche' is possibly the fastest growing one at the present... jobs and employment.

I don't 'do' IM but the techniques of marketing and so on help me to serve my niche better.

The IM niche is only a small part of what is happening online. The Warrior Forum is a great place to read about IM niche but this is not the only thing happening online.

Most of my money comes from outside the IM niche.

The IM stuff I sell is usually just me trying to make sure others get the same success..

It's 10X easier for most people to make good money operating outside the IM/how to make money niche.

    Newbies should start there.

    Hope This Helps!!

When you define "Internet Marketing" as "Marketing Your Business On The Internet" it's more like 90% of the money is made outside of the IM niche.

It's normal to have concerns when you're a newbie but you can take my word for it that there's plenty of money to be made by building an online business and marketing it on the Internet.
