Anyone know the javascript for adding Date to Sales Page?

INTERNET MARKETING

I'm looking to add the date to the introduction of my sales page, but I would like it to show the date as a couple days prior instead of the current date (since it doesn't seem very realistic that the page was written the same day as the visitor just coming across it)

Anyone know the code to do that?

So if the current date is: Wednesday January 28, 2009

the script will show: Thursday, January 22, 2009 (or some earlier date)

Is there a way to modify the script to something other than the current date? Or is that too complicated?

Sure - just change the date variables:
Code:

var year= 2009 *this is the year* var day= 3 *this is the day of the week 0-6 * var month= 11 *this is the month 0-11 * var daym= 31 *this is the day of the month *
This will give: Wednesday, December 31, 2009

Just note that in programming, we start counting at 0... so the months are 0 for jan, 1 for feb, etc... days are 0 for Sun, 1 for mon, etc...
