INTERNET MARKETING

I have a site that has adsense on it and I was thinking of becoming a amazon affiliate. Would becoming an affiliate of amazon cause my adsense to be banned?

I don't think so. I've been doing both on several sites for over 5 years and haven't had any problems.

This can be done without repercussions from AdSense

Just remember since the panda updates to many banner ads or affiliate links cluttering up content (more ads then there is content) can have a negative effect on your SEO

just make sure your site is still a valuable user experience so the visitor doesn't feel bombarded by ads. as long as you have quality content it is easy to use adsense and amazon.

You'll have no problem at all as long as your site adds real visitor value. I have quite a few sites that are monetized using both platforms and I haven't had a problem yet.

  Don't forget to test and play around with the positioning of the ads on your website. Your earnings (clickthrough rates) can literally double or even triple when they're in the "sweet spot".
