End of the year is always a time to say, "Out with the old, in with the new."

Which begs the question...

What will you be discarding in terms of marketing strategies come year end and...

...what new money making strategies will you be employing to make your millions next year?

    Hi,

I plan on utilize Facebook more and social media as a whole, there's huge potential there and my plan is to spend a lot of time to get even better at it.

Well I don't plan on discarding any but will definitely be employing some new strategies. Will definitely be getting into product creation, as well as some new backlinking techniques.

    Thanks,

I'm looking into adding CPA stuff to my income streams.

  • Besides getting started; I'll be tapping into Int'l markets which are less competitive and less saturated. These emerging markets will be goldmines - or so I have read.

Low-priced products. I've been doing a lot of el cheapo stuff because "times are hard" and people don't have a lot of expendable income, but the fact is: if they didn't pay what this product was worth, they don't want to pay what the next product is worth either.

Not to mention if you fill your list with people who only had $7 to spend, you'll end up promoting to people who only have $7 to spend.

I am really not that interested in number of customers anymore. Yes, I feel awesome when I sell hundreds of something, but I think I would feel just as awesome selling a couple dozen of something with another zero in the price tag - and probably have more serious customers on my list.

I've got a small little core group of people on my list who are awesome (well, a hundred or so of them, which isn't so little really), surrounded by a vast array of whinging, mewling losers who don't want to do anything and email me to complain that I promote too many WSOs or products they can't afford or things that won't help their business. So I think one of my priorities, going forward, is to get the losers off my list and not let people like them on it anymore.

I've had it very strongly pointed out to me that people very much want me to write some software that doesn't suck, because they know I can do it, but I've also said over and over again that I don't want to write software because I spent twenty years writing software for a living. So chances are very good that I'll be releasing some software during 2012.

I'm also going to make a strong effort to do a whole HELL of a lot more video, ideally taking it up to a daily thing, and to make those videos into full-blown products almost casually. Less writing. More recording. I need to resolve my video editing difficulties, but if that takes too much longer I think I'm just going to say "f$#k it" and start tossing up raw video complete with me clicking the record button.

I'm thinking similarly to you Caliban.

Similar difficulties too on the video front, currently trying to wrap my head around it.

As regards the software side of things, I wasn't actually aware this was one of your key skills. I've got a little proposal for you, something I'd like to run past you, to receive your thoughts and possible input...

...a pm message is on the way.

      Cheers!

It's time for me to take serious action now. School is over. Time to apply what I have learnt.

I will focus on my new offline design business to bring in the daily living cash, and work on my online websites to start generating on-going income.

Well, my current online money making projects are limited to freelancing, so my goal for 2012 is to actually build a list and sell a product.

I'm thinking of sticking with my usual routine and strategies (solo ads, swaps, etc.) but with new approaches. Looking forward to be more aggressive and checking on new techniques.
