Google Webmaster Tools Question

I have several sites and each site has it's own Google Webmaster tools / Analytic's account. Is this ok or should I combine all my sites under one account?

It would be easier if you combined them all into one just from a management standpoint, ie you wouldn't need to login to 3 different accounts and waste time looking at each. Also if Google finds your sites useful they may give you more credit for new sites in your current account, ie I've heard some people talk about a google profile but they will probably figure out anyway that you own them all, Google is pretty smart.

Thanks for the input. I may go ahead and combine them all into one account. This brings up a question though. If I combine them all into one account, do i remove myself as the owner in the other accounts and then re-verify these sites once I move them into the single account?

I think you can delete them from the other accounts, what I suggest is to remove the verification files ( from the old account) that are uploaded on your system and then verify them again on the new account, I also think that if you verify the analytics on any site then it automatically verify everything on that particular site

I will do that. All my sites are in HTML so I will delete all the Google verification code from my sites and once I combine everything into one account I will re-verify them.

Too much work in my opinion...It's better to have only 1 account because all those users and passwords can be though.

ALSO...what I want to add..that you should also get a bing webmaster account. I've done it a few weeks ago and I noticed that I get more traffic from Bing especially.

Sounds like a great idea. Anything to help with traffic

Definitely get them all in one account. I find it annoying enough having to switch between my webmaster/analytics account and my gmail account...

If I remember correctly, the main reason for doing this is because after purchasing several WSO's the OP's said that having a separate Gmail account, analytics, YouTube account, etc. was the best way to go. Buy anyway, I haven't seen any benefit except the pain it is to switch back and forth.
