Despite the numerous downloads, this specific Wordpress script hasn't been updated in over two years.

I'd go for a more recently updated article script, not just the first one that pops up in search results on Wordpress.

Just as many features with this one and updated more often.

Free versions using Wordpress are just as good as using the paid themes. I've used a lot of different free and paid versions, and I always go back to the article directory theme with article directory plugin.

Even though they are no longer supported, they are still the best ones I've used. If you want, PM me and I will send you my latest eBook that is the perfect How-to create a secure article directory using free wordpress theme and plugin!

I would love a copy of the book also..

By the way -- the WP article directory theme and directory plugin does not work -- it returns critical errors regarding -- the editor -- and I found that solution -- but now it gives warning errors regarding an offset -- and cannot resolve that issue

There are a lot of resource which allows us to build our own Article Directory Script easily but it needs some techy work like customizing the CSS of the script in your homepage...

WP article script seems to be the most flexible & handy script available that is free of any complexities & can be handled easily for directory purposes....
