:)) How spam can be useful for everyone of us internet marketers! - FOR FINDING NICHES

Who doesn't receive spam mail every day?
More exactly for what I am going to tell you is who isn't receiving spam comments on their websites?

I know I receive a ton of them every day but there's one Spam-comment that made me smile a few moments ago.

You see the comment catched my attention because the website- a review about a certain product was something that i hadn't heard before so I quickly went in google's keyword tool and what do you see? 30,000 searches per month...DAMN!!!

So next? check the results in " " and again...AMAZING! Only 250,000 results. I know it not LOW competition...but it's average and for a keyword with those searches.

I don't know how long passed since I saw these kind of numbers...30,000 searches a month keyword?

Anyway..I am pretty addicted to finding niches and I know many of us internet marketers have this problem.

So the lesson is: JUST READ SOME SPAM from time to time...You might find a golden nugget!

Spam emails or comments are only one tool we can use to find great niches, there are other ones, like searching keywords in GA.

Thanks for the hint. I usually scan through my junk emails for great or attention getting titles, which I then modify for use in my own campaigns.

Damn Nino. You too caught the kind of approach I follow at times when I am bored and am looking out for new niches.

I had been able to make good amount by building adsense websites using this model.

pretty good idea... but again, you need to know what to look for

it also depends on the niches you get spam for... when I see my spam folder, there is many many niches I would never step in no matter how good keywords are...

Every time you open spam, you run the risk of loading a hidden image which tells its sender that your email address is live and well. I suppose you can look forward to getting a lot more now. :\ :/

This only happens if you allow it to.

A spam is a spam no matter what approach it is.

Products marketed by spam usually only support that business model.

It is the bottom of the barrel.

When you do that search, check to see if there are PPC ads being displayed. Then check to see of those same ads are still there two weeks later. That is a profitable product.

You can't tell very much about campaigns sent via spam because not much money was invested. Invested money (especially AFTER results are possible to see) is a much better predictor of a profitable product or ad campaign.

Good idea. But I don't agree with your competition strength checking method. Search in quotes doesn't represent anything. The key factor to determine whether keyword is easy or hard to rank for is backlinks, domain authority, and pagerank. CMIIW.

The product was different from all the "get your penis longer" and "make 1 million tonight" and it stood out in my eyes. Also, this particular niche is about a physical product that sells like hotcakes on amazon and it costs between $500-$5000.

About the competition my opinion is that you can take down any keyword you want but you need to think if that time and effort pays up when you reach one of the first positions.

I will let some guy named Dr. Zeus speak for me:

    Do you like
    green eggs and spam?

    I do not like them,

    Spam-I-am.
    I do not like
    green eggs and spam.

    Would you like them

    Here or there?

    I would not like them

    here or there.
    I would not like them
    anywhere.
    I do not like
    green eggs and spam.
    I do not like them,
    Spam-I-am

    ...

    ...

    Say!

I do not like green eggs and spam!
I do (not)!! I do not like them, spam-I-am!
And I would not eat them in a boat!
And I would not eat them with a goat...
And I will not eat them in the rain.
And in the dark. And on a train.
And in a car. And in a tree.
They are not so good, not so good you see!

So I will not eat them in a box.
And I will not eat them with a fox.
And I will not eat them in a house.
And I will not eat them with a mouse.
And I will not eat them here and there.
Say! I will not eat them ANYWHERE!

    I do so not like
    green eggs and spam!
    Thank you!
    Thank you,
    Spam-I-am
