Hi guys!
I have been doing IM part time for a couple months now. I am looking to quit my full time job in the new year. I think connecting with a mentor that has done this before would be a good way to hit the ground running and speed up truly making a living online.

Has anyone used a mentor for IM? If so where did you find one?

Thanks in advance!
Dan

      +1

I paid a mentor company $3000+ for just about nothing. I already knew the "how to" I just needed someone to motivate me and give me homework. It did work to a point, but it all comes down to product.

What I learned from then was re-hashed in a $10 PDF.

I believe that if you need a mentor, you need motivation. The tools and materials are out there.. the mentor sets the time line and goals which you then achieve.

BTW a distant family member could do the same thing.

Yes... the Warrrior Forum is a great place to start.

Also, @Sirtiman, a mastermind about online marketing is also something I give high recommendations to. In fact, a mastermind about life is something I recommend. I am a part of 2 mastermind groups right now. They have been critical to my success over the last 24 months. You might look at meetup.com in your area. You can find mentors and people for masterminds at events.

Most of the people I know that I utilize for advice come from live events and networking. I have a few mentors. It's a must.

Yes, A mentor can really help you with just discussing ideas and methods. Even a business coach can be a great help if only for someone to give you some inspiration and motivation to get it done

Mentors can transform everything you do. They've already been there and they've already made the mistakes and they're making the money. They can help guide you along to avoid those mistakes and straight up show you what works and what doesn't. I've never been good at teaching myself stuff so I went to a mentor and it really turned everything around for me. Best thing I ever did.

My mentor was Jonathan Budd, but that was back in the day. I'm not sure if he does any one-on-one coaching anymore. There are so many around these days. Just make sure they are legit and you'll probably want to connect with someone who utilizes an effective marketing platform. Best of luck,

A mentor, as HairyPoppins mentioned, can transform everything and truly turn decades into days as far as your progress goes.

A great mentor will challenge you in ways that you would not ever challenge yourself and help you see things in a different light that you would NEVER see them in because you don't have the experience and knowledge that the mentor has.

This is, of course, assuming that you select a mentor that already has the results that you are after.

For a couple short bursts years ago, I hired a coach/mentor to analyzise one of my sites and certain actions I was taking. At $125/hr. it was worth the few interactions I had, which uncovered things I was doing right, plus other conversion obstacles I hadn't noticed.

John Thornhill is my mentor. Well worth the money to me.

Liz Tomey and Jeff Dedrick have a internet coaching thing going on right now as WSO for low cost
