My articles keep getting rejected - help

Basically when I write an article, I do it in chunks or paragraphs and save it to a word file. When I finally hit around 500 words, I copy and past it to EzineArticles... and for some reason lately my articles keep getting rejected.

Saying...
Your article does not contain appropriate paragraph breaks

It looks fine when I use the 'preview' feature...

So how are you guys doing it?

Also, I got something the other day saying I couldn't use bold for keywords... can anyone elaborate a little on that...

You would have to read the terms on EzineArticles if that is where you are submitting. Use an html editor and put in appropriate breaks. Im sure you can bold something if it is necessary, but I would think they would see bolding every keyword as spam.

Have you tried copying and pasting from Notepad or another text-only editor?

That is what I will try next... I actually tried it to 'fix' my last rejected article with Notepad and it was rejected again... I think I may just have to type it all over again directly in EzineArticle...

Using a notepad editor should work. The problem with trying to write your articles word or a similar program is the page breaks do not transfer properly. So use a notepad editor of some kind.

As far as bolding your keywords, I am operating of the top of my head, but if I recall correctly the TOS say you can only bold paragraph headings.

I use a text editor also - Notepad or Wranger for the Mac. They may ding you if you have too many lines between paragraphs.

If you keep getting stuck, sign up for ArticleMarketer. They have a free version. When you submit an article through them, they tell you exactly what's wrong with your article. They're very fussy - no bullets - but everything does get through. My articles from Articlemarketer end up on ezinearticles, even though I've been told Ezinearticles only accepts direct submissions.

I don't think anybody lets you use bold in the article body.

I type my articles in notepad then transfer the text to Microsoft word and see how they look and do a spell check on them. I then transfer them back to notepad and copy them to ezinearticles. Might be a little extra work but it works for me.

Look at the source after you paste it.

Usually Word adds in a bunch of code that looks like garbage and isn't necessary.
