What are YOUR very best ways for getting leads to sell websites to the local market?

    My #1 method is shopping the business, and then inquiring about their website and how it performs for them. So in other words I make myself a customer, and then start a conversation. This works quite well, but it doesn't scale very well. So I'm looking for some help in this department. I'm lousy at cold calling, but quite good if I get a call from someone responding to a flyer/offer.

    I see you put "Fliers" in your #2 spot. It seems like fliers would require a huge volume in order to produce anything significant. If you don't mind, I have some questions...

    How many fliers do you generally distribute at a time?

    How do you distribute them? Mail ... door to door ... other?

    What is your cost per flyer? What is the format? Are these high quality multi color flyers, or something more basic?

    What is the call to action on your fliers? Are they calling you or are you directing them to your website?

    What kind of response rate / sell through are you getting?
