I found a site that advertised a cheaper alternative to PPC, but I lost it and can't find it anywhere. The website had a tutorial and a video image of a lady explaining the service. Does anyone know which site I'm talking about?

I hope it's not AdClickMedia - Photo Text Ad Network. Advertisers, advertise on tens of thousands of websites - ppc, pay-per-click only. Publishers, earn money ad revenue from your traffic.. Or is it? If it is, then here's my affiliate link also, AdClickMedia - Photo Text Ad Network. Advertisers, advertise on tens of thousands of websites - ppc, pay-per-click only. Publishers, earn money ad revenue from your traffic. |

There are several lesser-known PPC engines - I haven't used more than a couple of them and it was a while ago. MIVA.com comes to mind. Here's a little story: My girlfriend deals in vintage stuff. She goes to flea markets and estate sales and things. Sometimes something jumps right out at her and she snaps it up. But mostly other people grab all that stuff. It happens. It's competitive. How does she beat it? She digs through the boxes. She digs down deeper. Dig deeper and you'll find new ways of doing things. |

You might also check out FairAdsNetwork.com, but I don't think that's the actual site you're trying to remember. Doesn't that suck though? I do that quite a bit, see a site I find interesting - forget to bookmark it (or forget WHERE I bookmarked it!) - walk away from computer and can't dig it up through Google even. Lots of times I've used the history link in my browser and have had success in finding old stuff that way. Good luck - actually almost every PPC is cheaper than adwords though it seems, I'd just make sure you go with a site that has a good Alexa rating (and consult with the wizards in this forum, myself definitely not included, to double check). |

#1 your hot lol #2 I don't know which one your talking about but an alternate ppc source I use is AdBrite. From my own experience it is easier to use, I get a lot more clicks (targeted), and, I pay a lot less than I do with Google. Give it a shot |

ExactSeek! That's what I was looking for. Have you used this program before? If so, what were your results?

The program that Exactseek and some of the other ISEDN sites operate is a "top10" program. It's very inexpensive (anywhere from $5 to $15 per month) however the results are about what you'd expect for such a cheap program. The ISEDN search engine I work for runs a "top3" program, the largest on the internet as far as I know. The results are much better, since our customers ads supersede and push out the ads of those in "top10" programs; however, it's much more expensive, i.e. two keywords, 1,000 visitors each would cost $197. Your ad would run for 4-5 months. Neither the "top10" nor our "top3" program works very well for 'biz opp', CPA or 'make-money-online' type websites but our "top3" program works very well for most other businesses, especially brick-and-mortar businesses. You'll receive about 10-20 visitors per day for each keyword in your campaign. One of my biggest clients is in the car shipping business. If you research the most competitive keywords in his market you'll see that he would have to pay Google more than $3/visitor. He pays us less than ten cents for the very same type of visitor. The value of our program is that you can own a position, shared with only two other competitors, in a keyword that would cost a great deal on Google or Yahoo per visitor and pay only about ten cents for the very same type of visitor. Hence, your advertising cost is only about $40/month for about 400 targetted visitors/month/keyword. The point of this post is not to sell you on our program (I haven't named my search engine or provided a link) but to show you that there ARE good alternatives to PPC available if you do a little due diligence and scale your expectations appropriately. Incidentally, if you Google "top3 scam" you'll find the name of a company ripping people off trying to claim they do what we do. You will NOT find the name of our company in those search results
