Membership plugin

I know I've seen this somewhere, but can't remember the post.

Can someone recommend a membership plugin ? (for building a membership site on the wordpress platform)

Memberwing has a free version but it isn't automated I believe. You need to manually approve and cancel subs. The automated version costs $$. I personally use YourMember.

Yeah.. I searched a little and I can't say there is a good & free one.

I think you are looking for the Memberwing membership site plugin for WordPress.
There was a great thread recently about it and here's a link to download the plugin. Hope This helps

I use memberwing on one of my blogs. I chose it because it allows me to place a + sign or series of + signs to restrict content to member levels. I can also choose where I want the code to be placed. So I can leave some of my content available to the serch engines to index, and so people can read a section of it. Then when they click the read more link they are prompted to login or sign up.

Very easy to use.
