What are the best ways to market my website?

Apart from PPC or expensive advert, Do you know of some surefire way to get sales for my Ebook on Marriage ? Have done some ezine articles and they bring some traffic. I plan to resume getting a few articles out per day but would like some ideas on more free ways that work.

    Some ideas:
    • Post in forums
    • Do offline advertising (such as leaving business cards or even postits at restrooms, bars, parking lots, etc)
    • Work on SEO
    • Use free classified ads services on the Internet
    • Do one or more squidoo pages
    • Register in social bookmarking services

    I've listed LOTS of ways there.

    I just finished a traffic generation ebook (see my sig) which includes a ton of ways, but you will find lots listed on my blog in the traffic generation section.

    Here are a few for you:

    Traffic Sources:
    USFreeads
    affiliates
    Slide sharing (Slideshare.com)
    Link Directories
    traffic exchanges
    List Brokers
    Popups/Unders/Overs etc..
    Software apps (facebook, toolbars, etc.)
    Software/scripts included in CPanel/Fantastico
    Pinging your pages and the pages on other sites which link to yours.

    I think you have a great product to share! Here is one suggestion that might help.

    I would go into various forums for women, especially those for work at home moms, professional forums for women, college forums...etc. I think I would start to target my audience like that.

    With a little experience at marketing to members of specific forums, word should start to spread as your sales increase.

    I think traditional SEO is not so beneficial these days so we make sure that what we are doing right now. i mean blindly submission or link building will not be more beneficial in my sense

    Write a couple of ads and post them on some free classified ads online. See what they do for you, they're free and don't take but a couple of minutes! If it works out than write and post some more.
