Where do I get a good product to use for my first affiliate website?
I just bought an SEO program and I am a web designer so that part should be no problem. But none of my resources give me a good reliable place to get a product to sell. (I am only interested in affiliate marketing. NOT selling my own product.)

Thanks,
GraphicFett

Amazon has some great products, covering all niches. I always look at the product reviews on there to see what is selling and what the general consensus is on the product(s). And of course I check the price points. Need to know I'm going to get a decent ROI before writing up a review.

Of course there are other sources of finding products according to your niche but I'm sure others will chime in soon.

Amazon, Clickbank, Click2Sell, Plimus marketplace, CPA networks.

Clickbank - NO....unless your goal is to completely ruin your name on your first promo.

I'd say Warrior Plus is the best place. You can read the thread to make sure it's a good product, you can see the conversion rates and refund rates. It's a win/win for everyone.

Outside of the "IM" niche, I'd stick with Amazon only.

Clickbank is a good place for affiliates but there will be a lot of competitors.
As long as you are fast and keep up to date the new products then you will
be fine. But in my opinion, I would like to use RAP Bank and DigiResults
because they are both very new which there are less competitors.

Alternatively look at the Warrior Special Offers here....some of them (including my own - see link below) pay 100% commission for affiliates. Check out WarriorPlus to see affiliate products and affiliate information.

Do I need a separate account to use warrior plus?

Nope, use same login as here but I think there is a small charge ($3.99?) to access affiliate information and links of WSO products. Some of these convert at fantastic rates - sometimes as high as 10%!

Is it possible to earn good money with amazon? Commissions are too low mostly 4-6

depends on the sale price of what is being sold. High end electronics selling for $1000+ = $40-$60 per sale. High competition though.

You can also google "your niche" + affiliate programs and often find good products that way. Just keep in mind whatever route you choose, you want to check out the product yourself first, as there is so much junk being passed around today and you don't want to get associated with the wrong type of marketing.
      Just my thoughts.

      Best of luck,
      Robert

It actually depends on the niche you are in. Clickbank good if its the non-IM niche because the return rate by fraudulent buyers in the IM niche is quite high.

Amazon is good but I will advise you use it as an add on and perhaps not your major product. The beauty of Amazon is that if they pay you for any purchase made from their site for 24hrs even if its not the amazon product you advertised bcos of a24hr cookie. Its a shame the cookie is not for 6months! Place Amazon on your website like an adsense strip.

Another well recommended one is Rapbank. Pays instant 100% commission.

You can also try my link below. Outstanding value for money and I'm already earning from it

I'd look at Clickbank. It's worked for me in the past.
