Where are the people looking for investors?

by 7 comments
Hey folks..

Do you've any idea where I could find online marketers looking for investors?

A few years back, I was looking one for myself. Found one, struck a deal and we both made a killing.

Fast forward to today. I've a bunch of cash sitting around. And I'm thinking - instead of letting the banks play with my money, what if I could find someone who wants to invest it in his online business?

(but I couldn't find anyone specific to our industry - except some at kickstarter.com)

So where could I find such people looking for investors?

Thanks a bunch!

The Joint Venture section of this forum would probably be a great place to start. I haven't really ventured in there myself; but have seen the posts when searching from time to time.

Here. Obviously you'll probably have to weed out the leaches that are simply looking for a handout but I've seen some pretty cool offers in there.

I locate them through live mastermind meetings
    rather than on forums.

By the way, there are a LOT of Warriors with
successful businesses that they are looking to sell
    outright.

What kind of assets are you looking to invest
    in?

    .
You can find them in this very forum, of course. But the
major problem is sorting out, not just who can be trusted,
but who can REALLY make a killing from the investment,

Ok so posted at the jv forum
here - though didn't see much of a response. Lets see if it changes over the weekend.

    Thanks for the idea guys.

Willie, I'm interested in being an investor rather than a manager.

So instead of buying them outright -I'd just like to invest in them and have the owners continue running it as usual.

Ideally, they would have a good converting business in a non-IM niche and I could help them advertise it all over the place.

Please let me know if there's someone in your mastermind who might be interested.

    Thanks a bunch!

Hello guys! I began trying to make a little side cash online and joined Warrior Forum back in 2011. In 2012 I was making Adsense Micro Niche sites and also Amazon sites, always focusing on keywords that I could grab an open .com domain name for. I had many flops, but did have an amazon site that did well and make me about $100 a month on average. I got excited and began writing more and more articles, creating more and more sites. Eventually my marriage hit a rough spot because my wife was upset I spent way to much time on the computer so I walked away from the micro niche site world... Fast forward 4 years, the marriage didnt work out anyway and I wish that I would have never left, I now feel like I have so much to learn all over again! Are Amazon sites still a decent way to go? I woulnt ask for anything to be spoon fed to me I know that is a huge pet peeve for many forum members, but any suggestions or just pointing in a general direction would be greatly appreciated!

What would you write on your blog when you haven't even launched your product? I looked at 10 blogs and saw that most of them wrote about 'How they achieved and X metric' (non-relevant to the product), culture and other stuff when the whole idea is to gain more 'beta interests'! As a marketer, what will you do? In other words, what will be your content marketing strategy?
