Ways to make intro video / sales pitch for the homepage

What is your favorite way to make 2-3 minute long video that explains the main features of the product you're promoting?

I like a combination of cartoons with a voice-over and perhaps a few screenshots. I have used Youtube's GoAnimate, but it's not exactly what I need.

Anyone knows what software/tools were used to make the short video on the cloudfare.com homepage?

    I don't know how the video on that particular page was made, but one shortcut to getting that sort of effect is to use an After Effects template such as this (no affiliation):

    Depending on the nature of the product, for a quick 2 to 3 minute video description...

    I would use something "descriptive" like Bold Color Text slide-in frames..

    Camtasia has some fast non boring effects that will keep their eyes on the screen for 2 to 3 minutes and explain things all in one

    I works really well if you shoot yourself on a camera and include a white or black or whatever color background in the video behind you, then make bullet points pop up and you can point to them and comment on them. This is more personable than just a voice over a PPT presentation.

    I'd have a quick video that describes the site and your service and focus the visitor to the parts that you think are viral and interesting for both of you.

    I see many orders for videos on freelancer.com, maybe check it out.
