I've looked all over Clickbank's site for the answer to this with no success. I put in a help ticket but got a canned response that didn't really answer the question.

I have a Clickbank account and was selling a single product that's no longer active. I know if I want to sell another product I need to open a new account and pay the product approval fee again. But they also have some feature where you're able to list multiple products under the same account. From their canned email:

"There is only one HopLink Target URL and Marketplace listing per account."

My question is, can I delete the original product and substitute the new one and avoid the $50 fee? I know I'm looking at approval of a new category and subcatergory. Just wondering if anyone has sidestepped the fee by substituting one product for another.

    I don't know - sorry.

I don't see why not, but that doesn't mean much. Looking at it superficially, you can perhaps do it as "2 products in one account, sharing one Marketplace listing and one commission-rate" (as they state) and list only the second product in the Marketplace listing and remove the original one's sales page from your site?

But for the record, a second account (if you end up doing it that way) is only a $29.95 fee, not $49.95 like the original one.

I suspect that (unless Harvey sees your question and posts here) you may end up waiting for CB's reply, to find this out. And it could be a bad time year for that.

Yeah, I kinda think when they see a request for a new category and a new URL, thank you page, etc., they're not going to allow it. I've already applied for the new account and just now tested the buy link. Thanks for your answer
