How much Views your WSO get?

How much views your WSO get, when it appear at the WSO Forum for first time?
100-500? or 1000++?

And do you need to Bump your thread frequently to reach 1000++ views?

I would like to launch my first WSO. It's a free service. Because it's free, I need to calculate my expense carefully and would like to know wheter the $40 investment will give me a lot of clicks and exposure of my service.

    It will all depend on how well you "sell" your free service, and how in demand it is.

    I had one WSO that got 3000+ the first day. Another got 500+ the first day. It just depends.

    "Bumps" are great and can be a good source of immediate traffic, but, don't forget that you're still squaring off with alot of competition...and people who are doing exactly what you are doing. On top of it, it can be very difficult for a 'newbie' WSO thread to compete. When few views, and even fewer responses (i.e. social proof), many will naturally gravitate to threads that have a ton of views and comments. What I'm getting at is that you shouldn't underestimate the value of developing and fostering your own avenues for traffic to reach your WSO.

    I've "bumped" my WSO many many times. I've spent hundreds on "bumps". They can be valuable when you know WHEN to do it. On the same token, don't underestimate the value of linking contextually from articles, as well as resource boxes/signature lines, strait to your WSO.
