Have You Declared Your Net Business Model?

I just want to congratulate everyone at this forum that has moved beyond super research, sifting through tons of info, over-analyzing everything phase and ...

...declared their online business model or plan.

In other words how do you plan to monetize your prospects?

Until you declare your net business model you will not get on the path to making money.

Hint:

Don't get all the different methods of generating visitors mixed up/confused with what is an online business model.

Traffic generation is simply a part of the online business model but not it. ( see below )

Hint:

If you've been researching etc. for more than 6 weeks or 40 man hours, it's way too long (IMHO) and you need to get it in gear or else you'll simply delay the day when you can create another source of income.

I read the other day someone said they had been researching over a year.

Researching a online business model or plan is the best place to start and it will eliminate lots of your supposed confusion and info-overload.

Here are 4 proven online business models that every newbie should consider and are quite easy to conduct:

Sure there's learning curve but so what? ( it ain't rocket science )

- Niche Affiliate Model:

Sell products and services of others for a commission to people that do not want anything to do with starting and running an online business:

IMO it's simply 10x easier to sell to these people vs. trying to break in to the IM/How to make money niche.

- Adsense Model:

Have content on a webpage or blog and when your prospects click on the ads you earn income.

- CPA Model:

You earn income when your prospect fills out a form, submits their name & email address, takes advantage of a free trial etc.

- Domain Investor:

You don't have to learn how to slap up web pages, generate traffic etc.

All you do here is buy or create domain names and then resell them for profits.

So...

If you haven't declared a net business model yet, get busy finding one or else.

Hope This Helps!!

TLTheLiberator, you are absolutely right. I have been guilty in the past of neverending research. Then by the time the research is done, I was on to my next idea, which would of course require more research and on and on...

I started to increase my income when I decided to take action whether I was ready or not and I finally broke my research habit.

I posted this a while back. It was a great 'project' I had my team do to get a handle on the info overload.

In a moment, I'll show you two pictures of the 'cure' that I created using construction paper and magic markers. Of course, you can't see the writing because 1.) I'm a lousy photographer and 2.) well, ok, so I don't want to give away my niches, but the visual aid might just be the "Antidote" you've been looking for.

I thought with today being January 1, 2009, this would be a good time for anyone who is resolving (or 'solving' if you are a JMO fan), to 'embrace their Internet business' or other such similiar resolutions, to start with 'filtering out the noise of Information Overload' by just looking at a very simple mind map. Nothing fancy done with software, but something as simple as construction paper and magic markers. But first,

Here's the cause of Information Overload.

You've been programmed to believe that you can exploit a method
without a model. That you can implement a strategy without a
system. That you can use a tool without technology. And still make
      money.
This is a half-truth. You can 'make money' but you can't build a business on 'methods' alone. A business has to have 'legs' to stand on. Like a house, it needs a 'foundation' to rest on, support systems to hold the roof up, doors and windows for 'light,' plumbing systems for movement, electrical systems to support new technologies.

      A business needs:

      • A model
      • A market
      • Systems
      • Strategies
      • Tools
      • Technologies
      • Methods

Getting into 'Internet Marketing' is seductive to
say the least. You've been told that you don't have to know anything
or have any money to start making money. And that's partly true.
If you implement the system that makes the method work, you might
be lucky enough to make a few bucks.

If you're a smart cookie you'll be able to 'leverage' those few bucks into more profitable ventures and build a business. But if not, look at these two pictures below:

A business model identifies the 'type' of business that exists within an
industry. A business model determines who your customers are. A
business model has a marketing plan defined by it's target market
and it has systems, strategies, tools and technologies for creating it's
products, services, marketing messages and for distributing those
products, services and marketing messages through defined

      distribution channels.

As you can see in the picture, I have this model color coded.
In green I have two business models. You don't have to have two. I
just do. You'll understand why in a moment, but let's stay on track
      for now...
I have Products on one side, and Services on the other side.
Products then has two branches on it, one for products I have
created, or own some kind of MRR or PLR to, and another branch for
products I am 'affiliated' with. These two types of products are
separately color coded so that I can easily distinguish between the
      two.

Each of them falls under the same 'color' of 'Products', and each of
them also has a common color to denote the 'niche' that it would fall

under, or in the case of 'affiliate marketing,' fit in with.

Some of my 'affiliate' products fall under the same
'niche' as products I 'own.' So the book I have own in the Health
Niche, which is a depression book could also have links within the

book to my 'affiliate products' that I have a domain name for in my
'affiliate products' branch. However, as you can see in my Pets niche,
I don't have my own book on the topic, so I would only drive traffic to

that site via marketing methods and distribution channels.

The Pets niche has a different colored
'cloud' under the niche header color cloud, is because it's 'yet to be
developed'. But by using that color, I know that it is something I
      want to develop.

      Here's a 'Mock' Model.

It's just after midnight here and I am headed for bed. Many hours from now, sometime on January 1, I will release a full report complete with a 'key' for the color coding system I used to make these boards so that you can make your own and use 'information' to make a model, instead of letting it 'overload' you in 2009!

      Warmes Holiday Wishes,
      Marcus

P.S. The report has bigger pictures.

Absolutely true...When I first started online, I felt like an idiot every other week because just as I began to learn something, I found something better. If you do not buckle down and figure out your direction, the internet will become a merry go round that leads you to nothing but frustration.

I have found that the best business model is market affiliate products that are non-related to internet marketers through organic seo methods.

So, your online business model is the...

Niche Affiliate Model: Selling non make money materials.

And your primary method of traffic generation is SEO.

( Search Engine Optimization ) - as in getting free visitors from the search engine listings.

            You're right Trioman!

Buckling down, understanding and then declaring your online business model - shreds tons of confusion and Mr. Info-Overload and puts serious people on the path to profits.

          Yes, I agree.

If newbies would simply start with a net business model it would curtail tons of mr. info-overload and confusion.

Until a person declares a net business model - they are doomed unless they declare a niche or group of people to serve and then declare a net business model.

I call it the two headed horse. Net Business model + Niche:

It can be a terrible habit and hard to break, but you are proof it can be done.

      Bottom line...

Either declare your online business model or never begin to earn a decent income online.

      Have you declared yours yet?
