Question For All You Product Creaters

Hey guys,

So i was just wondering, when you guys wright HIGH QUALITY ebooks where do you find all your HIGH QUALITY information? Do you just use the internet and try to google search all the information or is there a spesific website that you use or do you go to your local library?

I know there is tons of ebooks out there that are junk because they lack the quality of information not the quantity.

I would love to hear what you guys do to find your information.

Thanks

The information in high quality ebooks comes from experience and knowledge. It's very rare to actually get a high quality ebook together if you don't know anything about the topic, unless you outsource it to someone who does know about it.

You may craft something good with almost no knowledge about the topic, but HIGH QUALITY comes from experience.

    Yes, what Frankie said.

I'll add to that, some who have experience hire ghost writers to do their product creation.

The ghost writer then does research on the subject and works with the expert to come up with a product.

In the above scenario the ghost writer often becomes as knowledgeable as his/her client.

I know of ghost writers who are now creating their own products.

I agree with the above posts. Experience is the best ingredients for a quality how to course or ebook, but don't let that get you down, if you are thinking that you don't have any experience. Surely, you are experienced in something. Look at every aspect of your life and I am sure you will find something that you have to give.

All my information ebooks on IM things are from my own experience and knowledge.

For my PLR ebooks, I use the usual methods of research… visiting websites and forums in the niche. Most of the topics I write about for my PLR site, I also have experience on so a lot of what goes into the books is also my own knowledge and experience but I usually back that up by doing additional research.

If you have to research the subject to write your ebook... Then you're not really qualified to write it.

Like what everybody else said above. everything I create is from my own hard earned knowledge that's took me years to learn.

First of all, NEVER write an ebook. They're considered cheap, a dime a dozen. Write reports, guides, tutorials, courses, laundry lists... but never write a freakin' ebook! Seriously.

And as many of the fine Warriors above have already said, product creation comes from experience with a topic. And a passion with it is even better. I bought and sold real estate for the better part of a decade. I can write real estate stuff with my eyes closed and mittens on both hands. There are several other topics I love as well. Human behavior is one of them.

But ask me about airplanes or scuba diving or travel abroad or gardening or any number of things and I have to go looking for info and my heart wouldn't be in it.

If I could actually talk to or spend time with someone who knows or is very passionate about a topic I could do a decent job with just about anything after putting in some research. But the best products come from people who have passion for the topic.

Hey now... I said that at the last conference I spoke at!

My high quality info comes from my head. It got there through trial and error, which ends up being experience. For me that's the best source of real, working information on IM. If something works for me, it will probably work for someone else.

I put together a high-quality e-book of 100 pages in 2 days effortlessly. I'm a writer and was sitting on heaps of material that I wasn't using. It was already edited and all I had to do was set it up accordingly. Basically, it's a WAHM tool kit with 25 PLR articles, e-book templates, forms, RFPs, even a sample business plan (minus the financials)...just a lot of useful info to help newbies work from home. As everyone is stating, experience is the best way to go.

Anyone doing this wont last 5 minutes in this business.

Sure, you might make a few sales, but then what do you do in terms of support?

Experience and training in a specific field are two of the main ingredients necessary to create a quality product that caters to that field.

Internet research is also necessary to keep up-to-date on the field to gain more experience and apply it in the development of a product.

I use my own knowledge as a base for the product and as for other product ideation, I get it from anywhere I can... The Internet, books, my competition, ezine newsletters in my market, etc...

That's why it's great to create products in a niche you are really interested in - You will have much less difficulty coming with a great product if you are in a niche you are passionate about.
