Hi I added a facebook comment box on one of my pages...I posted a comment with my facebook account...and then I clicked on the link on my facebook wall...to visit the website...but after clicking the link I got the following message:

Continue to longlinketc?This url does not appear to belong to facom but may still be valid.

instead of getting to the page...

how could I fix this?

Thanks

    Have you contacted facebook technical support yet? While waiting on a warriorforum member to respond, you should contact facebook and see if they can help you.

      I got the same error but I was able to solve it by setting the Website Url in my Facebook app. Basically, I had placed a FB social plugin on my website for Likes and Comments but I had missed a step setting it up.

      Steps to resolve:
      1. Go to https://developers.facebook.com/apps
      2. Click on your app.
      3. Click Edit Settings.
      4. Under Select how your app integrates with Facebook, choose website.
      5. Then enter you site's url.
      6. Save Changes.

      By following these steps I was able to get the error to go away and the Facebook comment app is working great now at TheTruthTalks.com.

    Apparently your link did not integrate well with facebook. Use the developers area on facebook to make your link integrate properly with your wall. This should solve it. Ask Facebook support to guide you if it is hard to do it on your own.

    You can use the following code to add like button

    Code:
     <iframe src="http://www.facebook.com/plugins/like.php?href=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.pagetolike&layout=standard&show_faces=true&width=400&action=like&font=tahoma&colorscheme=dark&height=80" scrolling="no" frameborder="0" style="border:none; overflow:hidden; width:400px; height:80px;" allowTransparency="true">
    </iframe>
