Is Auto Blog Backlink Commenting A Successful Traffic Strategy? Is this an effective way to raise SERP, and build traffic?

Or does this method simply add to the clutter. What do you think?

    You can do it, but it is not a great strategy to get better rankings. Keep in mind that these auto-approve blogs are usually spammed to death by people blasting links all over them, so the links you create on them yourself will be low-quality ones. They can still be useful for indexing, though.

    From my initial work over the last two months the key is to use something like Scrapebox and automate the process of finding good sites but doing the actual posting manually.

    It is said that google does not punish sites with lots of links to worthless sites but ultimately I think they will.
