Another email marketing question?

I was just wondering when you guys setup your email series/newsletter, do you outsource your emails or do you wright them yourself?

    Why do you care?

    You can do it in whatever way suits you best. It doesn't matter what we do.

    I usually write my own.

      I write my e-mails myself.

      Copywriting is one of the most valuable skills you can
      have as a business owner.

      I'm building a relationship between me and my subscribers
      so it's important that it's done in my voice and not someone
      elses.

      I would never outsource the writing of my e-mails to anyone
      else because it's too important and valuable a task.

      I am just wondering. Everyone seems to say that outsourcing is very important, so i just wanted to know if others outsource their emails. And thanks for the answer.

    Lots of people outsource them but those are the ones that get a half second before the delete button because after reading a few of them you can tell. There are a few people who I look forward to getting emails from even though I know they are marketing to me. Why? Because they spend time giving good value within the emails too. And they are never outsourced.

    One thing you should NEVER do is try to scam people into opening your email with false subject lines that seem to come from support or other rediculous things. They might work the first time but its a quick way to get them to unsubscribe.

    Outsource if you can't write or don't know how to structure the offer.

    If you can express yourself in the written word, then it's nice to be able to get your own "voice" across. That will differentiate you in your prospect's mind.
