Here's Another Way to Make $100

Hey Guys,

This post is pretty much for newbies who want to make their first $100. I was trying domain flipping and this strategy made me $100, but took me a good 10+ hours to accomplish. Not really worth the investment for me, but for someone else it might be.

Here's the strategy:

1) Comb through the list of domains that are dropped every day.
2) Use software to filter out all the domains that have numbers or hyphens. Filter out domains that are too long. Add keywords like "loan" or "auto" or "cash" to find money domains.
3) Go through the list and hand pick great domain names
4) Sell them on eBay

You can pretty consistently snatch up names for $7.41 and sell them for $20 on eBay. Be warned that you can also buy up names for $7.41 and end up selling it for $1.50. The names never don't sell though.

Here's the criteria for the names: It makes sense, it's easy to pronounce and memorize and has a clear end user.

Here are some of the names I've bought using this strategy:

EZPSP.com
ComputerWebmaster.com
WorldwideCruiseDeals.com
DietPillsGuide.com
TreatmentGuides.com
MidNY.com
PhoneGamesOnline.com

And a lot more.

So I made $381 using this strategy and paid $7.41 per domain for a total of $281.58, resulting in a profit of just about $100.

Here are the links to where you can download the daily drops list:

Use Moniker's batch checking service to see if the domains you want are still available:

Use this software to filter your domain names (it's free):

By the way, I didn't invent this. I found this strategy on NamePros. Which, by the way, is a great resource if you decide to get into domaining.

That's pretty much it. Snatch up dropped domains for $7.41 and sell them for $20+ on eBay. Pick really good domains and you'll definitely make money. It's probably a $10/hr job at first, you might be able to make a lot more once you get good at it.

Also, it takes about $200 - $300 to get started with this strategy. I mean you could try to start with $30, but you really do need to buy and sell a good 20 before you can start looking at your ROI and know what it really looks like.

Best of luck =)
