Spam Arrest Spam Me???

Do any of you encounter this message (in my "Spam" folder) after sending a payment confirmation message:

Spam Arrest requests that senders verify themselves before their email is delivered.

You have to do this only once per Spam Arrest customer.

I'm afraid to click that link and start receiving ton of spam. Anyway, if anyone have encountered this before, please let me know what the **bip this is?

    Basically Spam Arrest is a service that people sign up for that requires the sendor of an email to click on the link to verify that they are indeed a real person and not a spammer/bot.

    You need to be sure you actually sent an email to the buyer. SpamArrest emails are spoofed also.

    I use SpamArrest, even though some knowitall guru's here detest it, which could cause this to be a long thread if they want to vent their frustrations out because they're too opinionated to let others use the tools they have.

    Oh well, enough rant there.

    As a user, I learn that when I buy or subscribe to something and should expect an automated response, I need to go in and approve the sender's email (that would be you). That way, if the challenge is not answered, I still get the course or product and the seller is able to send responses to the no-reply email.

    Only thing is, set up an SPF file on your server and don't change your from address or the message will be blocked, because the buyer won't know to be on the lookout.

    Also, it is very, very, helpful if your thank you page warns the buyer and tells them to "whitelist" the address you will be using as your from address.
