Godaddy Hosting- Can't stand anymore

Hello guys,

I hope everybody doing great and have a good holiday. I have Some Godaddy webhosting plans and also i have a reseller. Almost of my websites are hosted there.

I used to do everything in my own. I make my all work and application customized. I make my own design, programming, SEO, Automation, promoting and everything else. This is killing my time and effort as i can't do all of these stuff for each brand new website or what ever application.

These custom applications iam already making doing great in SEO, load fast and serve the purposes.

I can't afford to outsource these details right now and also i want to save my time and get my business running great.

I tried Wordpress to save my time and efforts, but it sucks with Godaddy. all websites [Wordpress sites] load like a turtle and i believe that no visitor can wait this stupid site loads.

I had communicated with the customer support many times but in vain and i think many people here knows about their customer support low quality.

I tried to get a hosting account with Hostgator but unfortunetely they didn't accept my Virtual mastercard as paypal is not supported in my country "Egypt".

I can't waste my time with wire transfers or other stuff. Please, if anybody can recommend a solution i will be grateful because i also don't want to promote their services via my own reseller because this will be as cheating my customers. This is all a loss

Hope great holidays for everybody

Thanks,
Hassan

I have used several hosting companies. HostGator is my favorite so far. HostMonster is good as well.

Yes these both are great but they both told me that they can't accept my virtual credit card [Hostgator made me a refund when i had ordered a hosting plan in the past].

Thanks everyone, but i need more practical solutions for my case.

Now I have a opposite experience than you all, I love GoDaddy. All of my sites are hosted there and I have no issues with loading speeds or anything. Now I don't know if hostgator will accept it but have you thought about using paypal to pay for your hostgator hosting? I hope you find a solution to your problem! Good luck!

Are your websites built in wordpress or they are custom?
Because the problem appears with wordpress platform if you have read the full post.

As i said Paypal is not supported in Egypt so i can't pay them using Paypal.

        Anyway thanks.

Sky is the limit, you have to trust some people to make your business grow. For the payment or Paypal, you can JV with someone to trust outside your country.

It's such a hard move to make this JV and trust someone you don't know anything about him inside the country. So what about trusting someone else outside the country? I think it's harder.

BTW, i'll take your advice in my consideration, but how to get that partner?

I've been having performance problems too. Their support staff have actually been fairly helpful, and did suggest several things that did improve performance, but I finally signed up for some site performance monitoring and have been intermittently seeing things like 30s load times on a WP site that has like 3 plugins and a very basic, all-text layout.

Combine that with the whole SOPA thing this week and I'm ready to switch. My hosting is up for renewal in February, so it's a good time.

The most common recommendations I've had from friends have been HostGator and NameCheap.

Regarding payments, have you checked out Skrill (new name for MoneyBookers.com)? I think they work in Egypt and may make it possible for you to make the payment.

Whatever they're telling you, they always keep telling the same [We recommend using wp super cache plugin - db optimizer- bla bla bla].

Or, they still telling you to upgrade to another plan to get your money and selling you another crap and keep convince you that the problem is not from their side.

When you tell them that the website was down for a while, they tell you that the reports showing that everything is ok.

Why such big dogs always disturb their customers and make them run away.

I believe that Wordpress is not the best programmed platform and i prefer coding my own scripts, but it works great in other hosting companies.

Any way thanks for suggestions and may be i will use Western Union to pay for Hostgator when my renewal date comes up.

I also have an Alertpay account, but unfortunately, few people use it.
