BuildMyRank (BMR) Banning Writer's Accounts?

Have any of you noticed that your BMR writer's accounts are getting banned for no reason?

I have had a couple of them that have very high approval rates (>90%) get banned for no reason.

I had a chat with one of my writers and he was speculating that they are trying to get more of their clients to outsource blog posts to them. They cost $2.50 per post for one link... which is pretty ridiculous.

Anybody else having issues like this?

I've never seen it, but it isn't a huge issue anyways. If your writers get their accounts banned, have them either post under a new writer's account, or simply email you the posts you ordered and you can post them manually. A little bit of an annoyance, but not one which can't be handled easily enough.

The bigger issue I've seen with BMR is that they now seem to have A LOT more PR1 sites than anything else, and the service is very crowded, meaning your post only stays on the high PR home page for a day or two before falling off into oblivion.

        This ^^^^ exactly.

And in the case of SEO services in which "page rank" is a relevant/promoted feature, that's particularly so, partly because Google has made it really clear that the trend we've seen developing during 2011 (i.e. for page ranks to become less important and for context-relevance to become more important) is just a small part of a longer-term, continuing process.

Who claims there was no reason? You, the writer, or BMR?

If it is the writer making the claim it is for no reason what makes you sure they are telling the complete truth? Did you ask someone at BMR, or just the writer?

I had a website I submitted to BMR and it was rejected for lack of content. suprisingly I had other sites in BMR with even less content. I tried to fix it, spent days adding more unique content, re-submitted on a few occassions and it was rejected again and again. I got into an argument with him about it, saying the site was quality and now ranks on page one after 60 days with 796,000,000 competitors but he wasn't having any of it.

Personally, I think he rejected the site due to conflict of interests. So yes there could be alot of truth in what you're saying but, does he care, probably not. He makes enough money 10k a month? Just from BMR and not including all the sites he owns. Time to start my own blog network me thinks....

I was debating whether to use BMR or Article Samurai.. the problems are:

    1) page rank doesn't matter anymore, the quality is the key as Alexa mentioned

    2) Your post will go for 2 days then new posts from new users will be posted and your articles will go to the inner pages

    3) What if Google signs up with these services and discovers their domains? everybody who posted a link there will get banned! Article Samurai claims to build thousands of links so Google will be looking into that to teach them a lesson IMO..

yes I had a warning as well saying that if my approval rate does not improve they will ban me. I admit one writer had a poor showing on one project (i am no longer using him) but the others have been fine for months.

This will never happen because website owners do not have control over outside linking. Meaning you could post your competitors links in the blog posts and then go inform Google that they are in violation of their TOS and get them de-indexed. That aint going to happen. Sabatoge would run rampent. You thought it was cut-throat now?

It's clearly stated in the Google's webmaster guide that they no longer deal with websites one on one or hands on. Any reports thay recieve from other webmasters tattle telling on each other are taken in consideration during their next algorithm update to help weed them out that way. The biggest thing that can hurt you is linking to other "black-listed" websites. The worst that can happen is that those websites posting the content could get de-indexed and you would lose those links. Which is in-fact what the most recent algorithm updates were designed to do. So the strenghth in which any network survives is in the quality of the content that is being placed on these websites.

This is a big reason that not only BMR but any other network and top tier article directories are cracking down on thin useless content.

I've had one writer who was banned ..his approval rate was very bad. Other writers with 80-90% approval rates are fine.

From the look of things, the quality of your writer and his or her articles are the main reason for the ban.
BMR expect and will approve quality post.
Most marketers I know are enjoying 100% approved rate and it mainly down to both the quality of the writer and articles written.
Like an other business processing, following simple guidelines makes things flow according and it is essential to invest in your writers, they need training in many areas.
I have recent read some cool top marketers post and many of them shares positive results from BMR. Infact, one did a test, over a period of time against other popular networks. BMR was the most productive.
When I mean result, I mean the one way backlink traffic surge.

    You gotta love BMR.

Tried the "free" trial and submitted a superb article to them. It was rejected four times, each with a different reason than the first. One of the rejection reasons was something about some or all of it being taken from other web content, complete BS. They banned me for strongly disputing the reasons lol.

but I have to agree with DigispaceMarketing that BMR is effective in the serps

      Hey there folks,

Firstly, I'm not fencing for work...we're totally booked until march at the moment, but I saw this thread an

I provide a BMRr outsourcing solution that is made up of solely British university students, the majority of which are either doing English or Drama.

We've put in the region of 16000 posts through the system with 99-99.50
      5 first time accuracy.

However over the Christmas period I noticed that rejection rates (same writers but more rejections than in the last 8 months of running this) were up (same writers but more rejections than in the last 8 months of running this) and having inspected the posts, the rejections have been quite unfounded.

I'm not too sure what is going on at 'BMR' towers, but if anyone has any insights, I'd be very pleased to hear them.

      Many thanks

      Colin

It seems clear to me that BMR has hired people who are incompetent and/or non-native English speakers to "check" the posts. It's very annoying. I have to "dumb down" my posts, which is both offensive and time-consuming.
