.co.uk or .com for article marketing blog?
Well, I have now set my mind on doing this, mainly I think to prove that I can, and also to learn more about article marketing which has always been a bit of a shady area for me.
I have chosen to target very basic computer users. I plan to make a site with articles on how to remove spyware, do firewalls etc.. as I feel there is lots of nice tie ins and possbilities for a successful newsletter in this niche.
I'm going to spend the weekend writing my articles but I have fallen at the first hurdle. Do I get a .com or .co.uk domain?
Having done seo for my own UK based services I have always favoured .co.uk domains as they provide less competition for keywords and I have just been selling to the UK.
With blog marketing I can sell to anyone who can read english so I'm in a dilema. Do i go for .co.uk domain and easier rankings within the UK, or do I go with a .com domain, have a wider audience, but have a much harder time ranking well?
Also, if anyone who has been doing article marketing for affiliate sales and feels like taking me under their wing send me a PM, I have lots of juicy knowledge to trade.
