What is lead cap? *Affiliate manager asked me*

Hey guys my affiliate manager asked me how much cap leap I will need for a new campaign. Does anyone know what this means? My guess would be up front capital before sales flow in, and once sales come in they collect the loaned money before I get anymore checks? First time I have been asked this, anyone who knows what this means your answer would be greatly appreciated.

Worst case I can ask the affiliate manager but I don't want to come off as a newb or anything if it's something I should know.

A lead cap is the amount of LEADS you can generate in ONE day. Say a dating offer had a cap of 200 then you can not send more than 200 leads on the front end in one day until they seen how they converted on the back end for them. once they are able to check lead quality they will usually lift the cap.

No problem AM's should do a better job at explaining what the terms mean They expect all of us to know it all from the beginning. IMO the suck at their jobs expect a select few who actually care.
