Fundamentals of Good Web Design
Hi there,
Just after peoples opinions on what are the fundamentals of good web design.
Mine so far -
1. Less is sometimes more.
2. Clear, simple copy.
3. Absence of annoying popups, flashing images
4. No gateway before going to the homepage.
5. Logo always in the top left hand corner, which when clicked always goes back to the homepage.
Bit of an abstract question I know but interested in any comments.
Also what websites, really impress you in terms of thier design and usability.
