Hey Warriors,

Can you let me know what writing outsourcing companies you have used with success? I want to review perhaps the 5 most used services. Money is a factor but the articles must be readable not just crap.

I'm hoping I can find a company or person that can write some solid review articles about a specific product and perhaps general articles related to certain niches.

Please don't sell me your service I am looking for comments from customers.

Thanks Guys.

Iwriter is a quality service. When the writer is done with the article you have the option to accept or decline the finished product.

I have real life employees that write articles for me for my smart adsense sites, but I have been told that fiverr is a great place to hire people to write for you. Just make sure it is good content.

You can try Fiverr. Make sure you sort by ratings to filter out the poor quality writers. for 5 bucks the reviews they can do are pretty good

It seems like all I have gotten out of 20 or so articles is 30% concise sentences, 40% filler just to meet the minimum word count, and 30% that makes me scratch my head and wonder what they are talking about.
It's always funny when people are surprised that they get crap from a service that sells itself on being cheap, cheap, cheap. What can you expect from writers making less than half a cent per word, especially in a system with no qualification and that essentially penalizes writers more for doing good-but-not-great work more than it does those who do poor work? In that kind of system it doesn't pay to try to put out anything but the minimum acceptable quality, so why do anything else?

That's because iwriter's rates are complete junk. That's why the work is complete junk, too.

I outsourced on elance... good experience overall

Costs aren't too high.. quality-wise = not bad (Most of my hires are from US or Canada which brings pretty good quality, I stay away from like India or w.e, cheap content but not the best in terms of quality)

I wouldn't use Fiverr for writers. Quality control is hard on fiverr imo

Since money is a factor,, then it seems like you should be looking for a writer on Fiverr. You can't beat $5,,,, or can you?

But,,,, I also think the maybe you should give it a shot yourself. I'm personally tired of all the crap that people outsource. Is there anything that was written by the actual site creators anymore?

I think when you outsource and just put up garbage on your sites that was written by someone that has no interest or knowledge in your topic,, you really lower the quality of your sites. Why do you think so many new marketers fail. Because they don't create anything,, they outsource

Elance is the best for quality bar none because it is impossible to spam there. They only let contractors on the unpaid system send in 10 applications a month. Look at the writing jobs posted there, and you'll see that most people are getting applications from experienced writers with good ratings.

All of the freelance websites are relatively the same for outsourcing..

    odesk, elance, guru

You basically get what your pay for. If you're looking for good writing, ONLY hire someone from an English speaking country, preferably US & Canada. Sometimes the Filipinos are decent, but you'll have to re-write some of their content at times.

latnem, we'd be happy to work with you on your project. Whenever you outsource, though, please think through what you need before sending off your request, no matter who you work with. Think about your audience, your niche, and what you want the piece to do. Those three things can help the writer, whether found here or on Textbroker, do a great job for you.

noangel, there's nothing wrong with polishing and/or reworking the basic research or drafts from another person. To be fair, when you start working with your author, let them know you'll be publishing with your name. This way, it's clear to both parties from the get-go.

  • I have had really good luck on Odesk. I have used people from the phillipines and only paid two dollars per article. As long as you are clear in your hiring terms, request sample work, and hire someone with a proven record you will be OK. It is very important to be clear with what you want though. If the quality of work is not up to your standards you can end the project without payment and post the reason why.

I'm just about to start writing at www.iwriter.com

They have a standard-premium-elite article system, which basically means that you can choose to pay more for articles of higher quality.

Now that said, even the elite articles are quite cheap (about $1.50 per 100 words) which is something to keep in mind. I guess you will get what you pay for.

Also check out The Content Authority

I hope to be accepted there as well.

Take what I said with a bit of grain of salt though, I haven't bought any articles myself.

Thank you for writing on iWriter. Regarding the $1.50/100 words. As our user base grows larger and larger, I have MANY MANY ways that Elite writers will get paid heaps more than that. It's just a matter of our customer base growing to an adequate level before we implement many of the ideas in my head. Don't worry, it's coming. The more money that our writers make, the more we make... so trust me, this is top priority.

Thanks again. Hope you had a nice Christmas holidays.

If you're a good writer yourself and simply want someone who isn't so good but on the cheap, you may hire writers from freelancer.com. Get the ideas that way (some of them are quite good), and then rework them! I wrote an eBook "How to Turn a Dull Article into a Blockbuster" based on this method.
